Flonne stayed dead in the bad ending, while the good ending, she became a fallen angel as her punishment, which is why she has red wings and tail

Got to love the Disgaea trio, they break the fourth wall and say things relevant to the post-game plot all in the same line of dialogue. Kind of sucks though that Axel is the Disgaea 2 rep (not counting DLC) for the official post-plot.

Although by Overlord standards, despite Aurum's insane boasts, I get the impression in story that Mao is pretty low on the Overlord scale compared to the likes of Laharl, Zetta, and Zenon(Rozalin's true form).

If you get the bad ending, you will know why Flonne is red. Major spoiler and I'm warning you:

Flonne dies in the bad ending and ends up being a demon. She is red with devil horns and tail. In Disgaea, I believe overlords have a certain reigning time, so in this case, Lahral does not reign anymore as overlord. A new one has appeared just like in the history of netherworld. That's my guess.

You have to subdue them or save them in Reverse Pirating missions. Reverse Pirating missions are available once you stole a pirate ship and open the PPP club. Reverse Pirating is the only way to get Staticians I'm afraid.

House of Ordeals is the fastest way to level up to 9999. You need 7000 mana to get the bill to appear in the classroom. However, you need level 300 Staticians to level really fast. If you don't have Staticians, it can take a while to get to 9999. You can also increase strongest enemy bill and grind in House of Ordeals.

Defeat the boss in Chapter 7, and you will be able to do post game things after the ending. You then have to complete all extra maps that are accessible by passing proposals in the classroom. This is the 7th extra map.
