I try really hard to find the value in playing DDR like this. But, I can only barely understand why someone else might enjoy it. I suppose there's an element of competitiveness, and a drive to supersede your own physical "limitations"... but... this doesn't resemble any dance I've ever seen. The revolution of dance is that it becomes ferocious ankle-endangering vibrations? Count me out.

The value in DDR is setting yourself goals like "Get a AAA on Paranoia" after you can AA most songs no problem. Here is another example "pass Max 300 with a B or higher"

You just wanna play it more and more. You wanna get better and better. I wouldn't say I was addicted - I was exaggerating. But, it's very easy to become obsessed if you play it hours on end. What this kid is doing is so damn hard. Just do the levels that you find you can just about manage, until you find it easy. Then, go on to the next level!
