wtf? Okay... I should sue you cuz you shouldn't teach what you don't know or at least warn that you're not sure about what you're about to teach! That was for me a crime! How did you say "borboleta"?? Omg!!!
what's this wonderful music in the background? I have just started portuguese today, I'm learning the alphabet right now, I'm not English, but I learn it in English that makes it more exciting to me! I am very grateful for it, thank you very much for the help, I love Portugueese language both- Portuguese and Brazilian people!
@sublimeaudio Hi. Thanks for your comment. The music is just a little piece I wrote on the guitar :-) Enjoy learning Portuguese. It is a wonderful language!
@MrBloc7 There are some subtle differences but it's still Portuguese. The accent however is very different. Because I'm learning European Portuguese I find the Brazilian accent much harder to understand - just a case of listening more really.
A palavra "estória" não é necessária. História pode ser usado tanto para "history" quanto para "story". Alguns autores inclusive rejeitam a palavra "estória", considerando-a um anglicismo indispensável. Afinal, ela é de fato vinda diretamente do inglês "story".
Most obvious is the difference in accent - like Amercian and English. There are sometimes grammatical differences between Portuguese from Portugal and Brazilian Portuguese but they are the same language.
you have a beautiful voice, how old are you? lol. Anyways, what are the chords for the background song here? I play classical nylon stringed guitar, I'd like to learn this one as well.
On the fourth repeat move to E Major and play the pattern by moving the base note of the chord to the next string up each time. Middle 8 bit d minor a minor g major e minor d minor a minor g major e major Back to the beginning :-)
Just like spanish

if you learned European Portuguese would it be difficult to communicate in Brazil?

LeahWhitehorse 3 years ago
the difference is that brazilians somehow screwed up portuguese pronunciation how 't' sounds like 'ch' or 'd' sounds like 'dj' is beyond me

Thanks :-) I'm as old as I feel haha.
I'll give it a go at explaining.
The chords are easy, it's the embellishments that make it sound appealing

I'm having to post this in stages - it won't let me post it all at once!

start on A minor
then A minor with 5th string 3rd fret
A minor with 4th string 3rd fret

Hallo!
Sehr gut tatsächlich.
Aufmerksamkeit, bitte|
„G" ist „gê" nicht „guê".
Wird „guê" sein, wenn gefolgt durch „u"; in den anderen Fällen immer „gê" sein wird.
Erbärmlich für „meine" deutsche Sprache bitte!
