@MrBloc7 There are some subtle differences but it's still Portuguese. The accent however is very different. Because I'm learning European Portuguese I find the Brazilian accent much harder to understand - just a case of listening more really.

A palavra "estória" não é necessária. História pode ser usado tanto para "history" quanto para "story". Alguns autores inclusive rejeitam a palavra "estória", considerando-a um anglicismo indispensável. Afinal, ela é de fato vinda diretamente do inglês "story".

Most obvious is the difference in accent - like Amercian and English. There are sometimes grammatical differences between Portuguese from Portugal and Brazilian Portuguese but they are the same language.

the difference is that brazilians somehow screwed up portuguese pronunciation how 't' sounds like 'ch' or 'd' sounds like 'dj' is beyond me

The chords are easy, it's the embellishments that make it sound appealing

start on A minor

then A minor with 5th string 3rd fret

A minor with 4th string 3rd fret

E major with open 4th string

repeat

On the fourth repeat move to E Major and play the pattern by moving the base note of the chord to the next string up each time. Middle 8 bit d minor a minor g major e minor d minor a minor g major e major Back to the beginning :-)
