I myself also grow and I do sell Unusual Fig Trees in the UK.I own a 25 acre Fig Farm in Portugal with 2,000 Fig Trees.
Do email me with your requests, I can ship to the States.The trees are under 2kgs.in weight for shipping.,usually about 2 years old and well formed.Now the Fig Trees are without leaves.So now is the time to buy and plant.......
No it's not too late. I even lightly tip prune my tree during the season if I see it getting leggy. But note, the fruit is produced on the ends of the branches as they grow out. As new branches develop, fruit will also develop. There may be a little lag time in fruit development...So perhaps you prune part now and part in the fall as the tree goes dormant.
