  • Hey, that`s a good method! Thanks! :)

  • These Japanese kids are good! But I bet it's because you're a good teacher ;)

  • Interesting video your students have got good manners in class, that helps a lot. especially when they are kids.

  • Interesting video

  • In Southern part of Japan, AETs (not ALTs) wear shorts during summer. (Elementary schools) Home room teachers, too.

  • wow your an excellent teacher good luck while being in japan

  • You seem like an excellent teacher =)

  • There's no team teaching with a Japanese Teacher of English?

  • Can't wait till I get to do this.

  • "Let's study Engrish!!" Haha adorable.

  • If I end up as an ALT for elementary school, I'm totally going to wear a track suit to class if I can get away with it.

  • @JesseHiraya Jeans are the way to go man!! heh...

  • Thanks for posting this. You got a good group and Im sure you had a big hand in motivating them.

  • I notice you are wearing quite casual clothes. Is this OK?

  • Thanks for watching my upload and for commenting.

There is no rule for me to wear a suit. I could, but I don't have to. Most Japanese elementary teachers wear jogging outfits. At least I am wearing a blazer. lol

  • No means to nit-pick, but where is the Japanese teacher? I thought ALTs usually help the Japanese teacher teach English, no?

  • Only in theory...;)

  • So, what does that mean?

  • as an ALT myself, that means 99% of the time the Japanese teachers sit back and let you lead the class.

  • Cool. So was what you expected, or were you surprised when the Japanese teachers gave you the lead?

  • @CharlesXavier when i taught esl in jhs in japan the teacher was there 99% of the time but often let me as an ALT do/lead certain portions of the class
