karin dreijer andersson is one of the few really true geniuses working in music. 'genius' is such an overused and misused word that it certainly has lost its meaning, having been applied uncritically to so many mediocrities over time, but her instinct for melody and poetry, her passion and her discipline, even her sense of humour ('we talk about love, we talk about dishwasher tablets'), set her apart as an artist. Damn it, I'm a fan.
