I hate those gatling things at the beginning they just kill me everytime! Is it best just to storm them and hope you dont die? Cos I figured that heavy purples stunned them?

Yeah, hitting them with 10 purples repeatedly works, although berzerkering with all your pikmin kind of works.

If things get too hairy, you can probably use the extra-bitter spray on one or two of them, as it isn't that useful for the Man at Legs.

I actually think one of the less intimidating levels was the hardest for my no-death run... I can't remember what it was called, but it was just a really long level rather than any specific hard enemies. Snagrets with no deaths are also quite difficult, but much like Man-at-Legs, if you're patient and know their pattern, it doesn't take that long. I believe this cave took me at most 10 tries, probably less.

i got every treasure no pikmin lost and 20 seconds left,and floor 1 where man-at-legs was at there is a golden beadle it gives you a gold plate.

To beat level 2, I found it easiest to hide all of my pikmin except yellows behind the wall seen in the background at 2:48. Then i would drop my yellows off behind the wall he hid behind at 3:15 and the tap the Man-at-Legs. Then I would run back to lure the Man-at-Legs to the other side of the wall and freeze him. I would attack until he about to shake them off and I would call them back and hide behind the wall. Right as he stops shooting I would attack again and repeat until he is dead.

Gatling Groinks are eaqsy- knock em out with purple pikmin then finish them up qith red pikmin.

;_; I...HATE...THIS...FREAKIN...LE­VEL... i was with my friend in 2p, i had almost gotten perfect and unlocked louie's dark secret. but no. when i was about to kill it, his finger slipped (yes, it really did, hes a close friend and he wouldn't do that) and he tossed one pikmin over the wall, only for it to get blasted to smitherenes by a certain creatures cannon :(

You suck. You realyed on luck too much when you battle the Gratling Groinks, You suck at aiming, and veryone can get the key on each level without getting killed. What is impossibl on this level (and esp. the on with all the skitterleafs) is getting all the treasures.

man-at-legs must be the only "long legs" enemy that follows you,or for that matter,poses any threat,rather than just walking in a circle =P

How to unlock Louie's Dark Secret:

Kill all the enemies in challenge mode without losing any Pikmin.

What are you talking about? To get Louies Dark secret you must have OVAR 9000 total Pikmin in story mode and you'll unlock a new challenge arena. The Titan Dweevil is in that, get a pink flower on it and the rest of the challenge arenas and you unlocked it. lolololo

In sublevel 2 find a safe place expect blue pikmins.When you are ready, touch the man at leg,(when attack after it touch ran away quickly)when the boss began to shake, beware that the boss will attack you, throw blue pikmins on to his body.then your done for the key
