Qucikpwn2.2 wont download...the page wont open...server not found it says...what do i do what do i do...AND I RESTORED THE Iphone without pressing Shift...and all my contacts and songs and everything is gone...how do i get em back?
I'm using the iPhone 3g with a T-Mobile Sim card. And yes, of course I have to pay for the service. It can be either a PrePaid plan or a regular monthly plan. The only benefit of unlock it is so that I can use it with a cheaper internet plan from T-Mobile.
Your iPhone probably is not 3g. That error probably means you are trying to install a "3g" version firmware on a "non-3g" iPhone. An easy way to tell if it is 3g is look at the back cover. If your back cover is silver color, it's NOT 3g. If your back cover is black or white, it is 3g.
If your iPhone is not 3g, you should NOT follow this instruction here. There are much easier unlock procedures for your iPhone. google iPhone unlock and jailbreak. You should find lots of links.
On running the restore with iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore I get an: The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured. Any ideas?
I am not sure if my iPhone is 3G, I don't think it is (am not that techie - sorry). I was workign absolutely fine for 1yr, but then iTunes auto-upgraded me to 2.2, and am now stuck in the Unsupported mode :( Have I just lost my iPhone???
