  • my question is why is that pin so fuckin nasty would u want to live in that shit dude take better care of them calfs!! that shit is like 2ft deep man thats fucked!

  • we clean our calve pens once a week. RESULT: less chance of diseases

  • why not get a grape and fork it like the old days

  • Oh hell yes I remember pitching the calf pens... Back breaking labor, and the stench... I wish we had had a bobcat. Even so, most of them weren't accessible anyway... Calf pens are even more fun to clean out than those last few inches of stinky sour silage from the upright silo. Blech! We called that fragrance Farmer #9, because it stuck to you all day!

  • Hello again, how did you speed up the video? was it in move maker?

  • No. iMovie 09 on a Apple Mac (Will not work on a Window's PC) To speed up the video - highlight a clip in the time line then drag a slider towards the hare to speed it up (Or the other way to slow it down) then click ok

  • Great little big machines, tough as nails those little 400 series!

  • I tired a 453 once.

Lost control of it over bumpy ground.

It was really worn, only had about 700 hours.

Had been used for Demolition so...

We'd live to have one though!

  • we av a 6ft bobcat and in some of the calving pens it scrpes the top of the door but we clean em three or four times a year

  • great vid m8 =)

  • y dont u clean out the pins every few days and save all dat hassle?!!!

  • Sounds like a good idea and will might improve calf health as well. They had not been cleaned out for almost 2 years. The pens had 4 feet of dung !

  • ya and u wouldn't hav all them big piles inda yard either

  • 4 feet of dung.... comfy!

  • Why Did the bobcat have a bucket on in the shed yet a had a grab on outside of the shed?

  • The 2nd shed door was to narrow for the grab so had to use the bucket. I mixed up the video clips when i edited this video

  • Ahhh Good Call... Good Videos By The Way... They never fail to impress me :D

  • @Mattygerken yer lol just noticed it

  • Your way to spoiled! Our barn is made for Skid steers But the old man Rathers us to do it by hand! Great video i loved to tunes!

  • we have a bobcat on my farm ....cleanin the pens are hard too !:)

  • close fit lol

  • in my youth i did this with fork and a barra at a farm in your area ,to add insult to injury ihad to push it up a skity midden plank.

  • Hahaha i feel your pain!

  • very narrow ! nice job

  • Good un!

  • Great vid again! We would be losted without our bobcat great bit of kit that never gives any bother even in the extreme cold and heat of Manitoba a must have for any dairy lol

  • Where in MB are you located ? I was over there a while ago looking at dairy farms for sale in the Brandon area and also down red river valley around Steinbach and a few up in the inter lake area. north of the "Peg"

  • Were an hour from Brandon just north of Virden near the Sask. border. Were you looking with Sandy Donald? He sold us our farm in 94 when we came from NI. I friend of ours (and fellow Scot) is selling up his quota and cows this July but I think he wants to keep farming beef some beef cows. Great place to milk cows in MB milk is $0.75CDN a L twice what your getting I am amazed you can keep shipping at that price.

  • Yes I was looking with Sandy and his son. Another realtor showed me dairy farms in the RRV I looked at a dairy near the SK border close to the town of Mcauley.

Wish i had bought a farm over there i am fed up farming here with the terrible milk price and non--stop rain !

Canada is the best place in the world to dairy

  • love the bobcat its great! probalt a handy wee machein, but when you film in side theres just muck and no straw.... sureley you give your calfs and cows straw to lie on?

  • Normally they get plenty of straw but i did not give them any for 2 days prior to mucking out because it's very expensive this year and don't want to waste any

  • ah yes, i understand now, we harvest our own straw and barley so we dont normaly have a shortage of it.

  • Expensive here @ $3/bale. We were lucky to bale 800 or so last summer, straw field was given to us as they wanted to double crop soybeans & wanted the straw off the field, probably won't be that lucky this year, my friend who owns the field told her renters she didn't want them to double crop again. We have a small JD skid steer, about 36 in wide, very handy for about anywhere, used alot for removing manure off of entrance patio into parlor, bot it used

in 1999 from an uncle in Pennsylvania.

  • thats handy wee machine!!!! :)

  • Great Video again mate, but you have some continuity issues, the fork outside and the bucket inside?...or is that the way you planned it.

Anyway, that sure beats a wheel barrow and a fork.

  • Two sheds in the video and filmed on different days. The fork was to wide to get in that door so had to attach the bucket

  • Good vid!! agile little movers.Used to have a lot of fun on a skid steer with no cab under laying hens. It was great until you got a runny one down the back of the neck......makes me judder just thinking about it now.lol

  • Sure as hell beats forking out the shed - I have that to look forward to next week when I go home!!!

  • Great vid and editing.Never saw a bobcat that small but DEFINATLY beats the fork and wheelbarrow.
