what joypad are you using for this, the only vid on youtube has a joypad that I have spent 3 hours looking for and still cannot find. As such, I cant use my joysticks on the controller, it only seems to want to register keyboard keys, which makes play impossible

I never had it crash, and I've played for hours. Sometimes the screen wood get all like disfigured, but when i used my telescope it would go back to normal.

Should I buy an xbox controller, wireless on pc?

@WatchingViking I'm not sure about X-box 360 contorller. I'm using a PS3 controller. the controller has nothing to do with how smoothly the game is running. What i did was open my task manager, go to processes and set dolphin to High Priority. Don't forget im using the Dolphin x64, so it will naturally be faster and smoother then the x32 version.

@AE812 You have to do that in task manager. Press Ctrl Alt Delete on your keyboard, then the bottom menu option is task manager. Go to the Processes tab in windows task manager, type "dolph" and you'll probably have dolphin.exe selected(You need to have dolphin running) Right click it, then Set Priority>High. Hey presto, done :) Hope it helps. If you think Alt Ctrl Delete is a troll you can also go to the start menu and type in Task Manager, then click the "view running processes with.."
