Painting an interior wall: the "best" roller cover to use

.For more advance sleeves and cages grab yourself an 18"roller you can roll any room in 5-15 minutes, they are amazing for tall foyer's and stairwells as well as 20-30 foot walls with no breaking points. also it will be easier for yourself to roll in a v or a w then spread it out . also never use a brand new sleeve for the finish coat , if that is all you have then wrap tape around the sleeve and pull it off repeat twice then rinse in fresh water and spin it out useing a spinner.

@kaskrew99 I have never tried an 18" roller cover before but what you say makes sense. I'll try your V & W application too. I've used a new roller cover & noticed all the lent that comes off. I like your suggestions on what to do for a new roller cover, prior to installing the finish paint. You're full of it today......."tips" that is lol! Thanks again for all your input. lamb skin rollers usually have cardboard material inside the sleeve which dosen't last long after washing it out many times. The best sleeve to use in my opinion are the woven type they leave a spray like finish after the back roll and you can wash them out from red to white and back to red again. they usually last up to a year worth of painting and they cost 7 dollars each great buy

@kaskrew99 I have noticed the inside of the sleeve doesn't last too long, on the lamb skin rollers. I've never tried the type of roller cover you have mentioned. I will ask for it next time I need to paint a wall. Thanks for your great suggestion! Joe :0
