for example, my 3 best friends started listening to metal about 6 months to a year after me because i influenced them
my little borther loves AIC because i always used to blast them in my room
that same gf i made the comment about actually sorta listens to AIC because of me too
people just need someone to show them the way and then you're good

@1chamberlain1 well dude, i live in a real small town. 100 kids in my grade, 6th - 12th grade ll in one school. so there are very few who listen to this music, and yes i know a couple. im in 8th grade, one i know is in 11th. so you can see how desperate it is

i have a bunch of friends who listen to grunge and stuff and we get wasted, light things on fire, and listen to music all the time. just as if it were 91' !!
but to be honest, it's quite rare nowerdays. i dont know more then 4 kids my age who listen to grunge or any metal that's good someday there will be a resurge in music. there has been in the past

sad thing is, music isnt the only thng that's been sucking. everything else does
manily, music, but for 1, i know that kids in general my age are just such dicks compared to the "laid-back" mentality of the 90s. You dont see anybody going in the woods and getting wasted and going crazy to AIC, lighting stuff on fire etc like they used to. another thing that sucks is movies. media in general
