You're missing one point, these aren't true republicans. They are neo-conservatives; fascists just like their international corporate slave masters. The left/right, republican/democrat paradigm is being used to divide us. Using this they act on our emotions and divert us from real problems. Using fear and the divide and conquer model is the only way they control a population. United we are too many.
You have no clue what you're talking about. Neoconservatives (like myself) are interested in the spreading of open systems of democracy using capitalism as the impetus of that change. Historically, democracies do not war with each other. If we can, through a slow and methodical manner, make the rest of the world democratic we can curtail the need for warfare and focus on ECONOMIC competition rather than military. We can spread the best parts of ourselves to those who deserve and yearn for it.
