not even done watching the vid but dont you think that cutting a chunk out of the chin bar will heavily compromise the structural integrity of the helmet.... and i crashed about 2 months ago, the part you cut out took all the impact for the helmet, so id never do that because id be afraid of the chinbar just breaking on impact
I like how the kodak camera is mounted on your chin. I don't care too much for cutting large holes in the helmet, but a chin mount I think gives a good perspective in the video. Not too high or too low. Just right.
I use the GoPro. On my dirt helmet, its mounted on the right side. For my street helmet, I'd like to mount it on the chin so I can see it and gauge if it aimed right.
The lasers on the contour are a great idea. I picked the GoPro cause it came with a waterproof housing.
yea let's start cutting into your helmet, it's structure and protective ability is not hindered at all... You better hope you don't crash with that helmet on. I know I know you won't isn't that why they are called accidents... I like the side mount camera though.
god help you if you happen to faceplant something with that camera right infront of your chin... night as well say goodbye to your jawbone now whilst you can still talk!
i like your helmet cam setup with the kodak. the other setups on youtube seem to obstruct the view somewhat. can you provide any info on how you did it?
i think i heard once that u can't have a cam helmet in MD..?? have u run into any kind of trouble?
