  • Noch immer hat dieser Song etwas, was ich nicht erklären kann. Die Hände gehn hoch, runter ... Grüsse an alle Missionare und Geschwister.

  • I adore the Mission U.K. :) This song keeps playing in my over and over and I can't help be sing the chorus to myself at times. ^_^

  • first band i went to see at nottinghams rock city cracking gig got soaked to the skin everyfooker was going off on one when this came on :)

  • LOVE them, love this song....still good after all this time!

  • nice song ty !!!

  • Hey if anyone knows the name of the band in my profile video please tell me!! I think it's goth??

  • @loves80sexperimental I actually took the time to try and be helpful, but I came to the important conclusion that it's not goth at all. It's rubbish. My suspicion is that the CD you are talking about drives anyone who listens to it to suicide and then gets left behind to make a new victim. It's like placing video from The Ring on YouTube - aaaaargh!

But seriously, it sounds like a home-made demo, so your best bet at finding the artist would be to contact whoever lived there before you :-)

  • Just one of many great "Goth" bands of the 80's. (Not my label)

Whatever you class these guys, great memories.....

  • just love the mission <3

  • Sound like Simple Minds

  • You really hear the sound of the Sisters of Mercy

  • I remember going to see them in the 80's in San Francisco...such a awesome time

  • Genios, temazo!

  • bons tempos!!!!

  • everytime i hear this i think of baba oriley from the who.... "theyre all wasted"

  • Great track!!!

  • I started listening to them when finding a t-shirt that said The Mission. They're great!

  • are these lyrics about anything? I'm not being rude I am asking you your opinion(am also laughing my tits off like)

  • @emile235 TS Elliot, thank's to a certain Mr Eldritch

  • Im affraid Hussey's singing sounded always too contrived....I saw them once at the Brixton Academy in '87..they were ok...a bit like a Goth band aiming to be bigtime...that was when this music was still apt...now it all seems so meaningless...thats NOT because of any failings due to the band's part...more a sense of how as a person, as one matures some things from one's youth seem cringingly embarrasing....at least thats how look upon this period of my long past youth...

  • Melancholie.....Mystiek. Dit is ook een nummer waarvan ik alles tegelijk voel;

Geluk en diepe pijn maar prachtig! Hoef niets in te nemen om tot hogere sferen te komen zodat ik nog intenser voel, gaat vanzelf bij mij ;-))))))

  • I still belive in god but god no longer belives in me...

  • Just heard this song in an episode of Miami Vice from Season 3 called "Red Tape" with Lou Diamond Phillips. That's how I discovered it.

  • I love the drums...

I love the power of their music.....

    great band.....5stars*

  • Great! Love it!!

  • simply PERFECTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

  • i love them

  • Seelenlied..........

  • ever noticed how the structure for this song very, very much sounds like all my colours with the bassline from back of love? both by bunnymen

  • Wow, I'm really digging this band and their sound. Some really solid work here. I don't know how I never knew about this band. What years were they active?

  • They are one of the best GOTHIC bands ever to exist . They were big in the 80's in the underground clubs of England and Europe . They are amazing !

  • They were active from 1985-1990 they split up but then the lead singer carried on until 2008.. from 1985 to 1990 this band was the real deal....for more info go to .m.w.i.s ....on google...!

  • I stil believe in God, but God no longer believes in me.. has that been censored? It did a great job of sending me into psychiotic self-harming loops that ended with Vodka... it s a shame to miss all that out.

  • yeah, what happened to that?

  • I haven't found one video with the original intro, but I have it on mp3

  • You mean the "I still believe..." part?

As far as I know this part is only used on the album versions of Wasteland, never for the different single versions.

  • i dont like bands with common names like Midwinter or Cranes or Collide bands like that i have to search all over youtube because it gives me totally different videos with birds and seasons :P

  • if u want to search this band, look for them under Mission UK

  • GREAT!!!

  • Wonderful song... I could listen to it a 1000 times!

  • The Mission UK lead singer sounds like the lead vocalist of The Truth!

  • the truth is a the mission copy

  • bere to dech......perfect sound.....bravo.....

  • Such an awesome band. I can't believe I hadn't heard of them before.

  • you missed out on them bigtime, such a fantastic band.....Children still my fav album

  • listen to tadeusz thats a hidden gem

  • I only heard this song and got in to it because it was in a chase scene of a cool episode of Miami Vice in the 1980's. I wonder if any body else heard it there first too. Miami Vice always had the best music, such as this song.

  • miami vice pirates of good music

    suck and fuck

  • wow

  • love this :)

  • Is anyone hearing similarities in the bassline of this song to the bassline of Marian by the Sisters of Mercy?

  • That's not very surprising though, isn't it.

  • I suppose not XD.
