  • great video!

  • cual es el nombre de la cancion??

How is the name of the song??

  • @salonparque it's in the description AND in the video! :p it's life in blossom ;)

  • Obviously, one of best in history.

He was great for a long time.

And no one, NO ONE could beat him in 2008 olympic games.

  • who is the singer?

  • @fburger1216

Wang Feng. The song is called 怒放的生命

  • i love the song :D

    who sings it ?

  • yang wei is the best AA in gymnastic history.

  • what does the cover of TIME magazine at 0:52 say at the top?! 'Golden Marvent'?? What does that mean?!

  • seriously bro, nice work on the montage one of the best, yang wei rocks..make antoher one lol awesome song tooo

  • Good thing you left out the word "artistic" because he (as well as the entire Chinese team) certainly doesn't do artistic gymnastics! When you have a difficulty of 7.0+, of course you can do sloppy routines and still get a high score.

  • Haha, girolle01, you make me laugh. How can you say the entire Chinese mens team aren't artistic?

I can see where you're coming from though, as, for example, Li Xiaopeng's messy PB routine got a mere B score of 9.550.

Btw girolle01, I suggest you look up the meaning of 'sarcasm' in order to make sense of the above paragraph, as considering you think the Chinese's impeccable execution is "sloppy", I doubt you'll understand the concept of sarcasm.

PS, Zou Kai is messy, I'll grant you that much.

  • Well, for one, there is no "above paragraph"; and if making presumptuous attacks on my intelligence makes you feel better, go right ahead and continue.

And two? It's math. If their routine has a high degree of difficulty, they really don't have to worry about keeping their knees together on a Kolman or sticking a dismount because the final score will still be high.

And though it's true, that is my opinion. I think they are sloppy. Whatever your's or anyone else's is, I could care less.

  • Fair enough, but seriously... Xiao Qin, Li Xiaopeng, Chen Yibing... You think these are sloppy gymnasts?

The Brevet judges on the Olympic and World panels clearly don't agree, but I'm sure you know better and boast higher qualifications.

And for the record, all the gymnasts I previously mentioned stuck their dismounts in the EFs they appeared in in Beijing and Zou Kai, the only Chinese gymnast to appear in the HB EF didn't perform a kolman.

"Sloppy"! Don't make me laugh girolle01!

  • Excuse me? One, I didn't say I "know better and boast higher qualifications".

And two, I didn't specifically say in Beijing (nor did I say that Zou performed a Kolman); I was making a generalization.

And as I said, I don't give a damn about you or anyone else's opinion. Why are you pursuing this with me? because you know it will never end. Weren't you taught to respect your senpais? バカです。

  • I realise you were making generalisations, but I took the Olympics as an example as it was a fairly recent international competition.

I know you didn't explicitly say you lnow beter than brevet judges, but I am just trying to highlight how idiotic it is to think gymnasts that the best judges in the world give E scores of like 9.5!

Also, by replying to my every comment and posing me questions at the end of them, I naturally thought it necessary to carry on.

  • Anyway girolle01, if you reply again, please can you just write the following to clarify your thoughts for me and the rest of YouTube to witness.

"The entire Chinese mens artisitc gymnastics team are sloppy (naturally including the likes of Xiao Qin, Li Xiaopeng and Chen Yibing), despite their almost 100% consistent E scores of around nine and a half."

  • Why the hell would I reapeat what's common knowledge!? That's bad (really bad) speech. Of course, I never really did like the Chinese team.

  • The bottom line is that this, well "old-new" scoring system (since they changed it again), was/is unfair because it put(s) too much emphasis on difficulty, therefore forcing gymnasts to increase their difficulty; it inadvertantly favor(ed)(s) specific athletes/teams; the fact that the Chinese team won by ~8 points is a fact of that, in my opinion.

But figure skating has gone to hell, so why not send art. gymnastics on that road, too.

  • this video is perfect: great song and great gymnast!

Yang deserved all his conquests. one of greatests of all time.

    =)

I'd like to see this video in HD...
