The recording date is mentioned to be 1985 on the box, and that's what I've referred to.

Additionally, he died in October 1985, before completing the recording of Beethoven sonatas. So, I feel, this one was among those that was recorded the sames year.

I like this very much. The rhythmic articulation is very fine and the expression beautifully controlled and purposive. The slightly slower tempo is very effective at managing the rhetoric of the piece. Thanks. I found this performance very clarifying.
