When this song was new I felt so inspired because I felt John's lyrics and overall musical ability were unlike anything I had ever heard before because they were and they touched me deeply in a place I don't allow others to go simply because it leaves me so vulnerable, but all of that faded and made me even more closed when John stopped talking about the lyrics and digressed to offensive things, but, if only for a moment, you brought me back to that place John introduced me to years ago. he should've covered this song with HIS own sound and style instead of trying to hit John's notes if your chords are not limited as Mayer's. I'm not saying John Mayer is not talented 'cause he really is but he said himself he's got limited chords and there's high notes he can't hit. Cameron is the opposite, his voice can hit higher notes but he doesn't because he's trying to sound exactly like the original.
