What the Republicans need is someone not only who can say cut taxes cut government and cut spending, but also someone who has the record of doing so, and someone with backround and knowledge of Reagan to be able to point to a million government failures and say what the cause of those failures where. in a nutshell he also has to be able to be likable.
They still don't get it. I am a baby boomer, but I remember my youth. Young people do not want to hear from a bunch of crochety old goats who have nothing to do but sound weird. Young people want intelligent people who have innovative ideas, who are in touch with reality, and who have something to talk about other than abortion, gays, abstinence.
As a matter of fact, I am 55, a woman, and a veteran, and I don't want to hear that crap.
How can you have a leader if you don't first have a philosophy for governing? The only thing they know is tax cuts; they never make the spending cuts necessary to afford these tax cuts, which would still be a bad idea even if they did.
I agree only so far as that he seems like the most definitive of their question "who can put it together, the social and the economic?" I'd still vote for Obama, most likely, but I would at least have to consider Ron Paul twice while Mitt Romney, Huckabee, actively freak me out.

The Geopee should always find leaders that are inanimate objects. (No offense to former President Reagan of course)

I usually hate to resort to such moronic name calling, but this stupid "tea bagging" idea just screams for any cheap shots at these loons.

Why ask that question, Chris? Everyone know Boss Limbaugh is the leader of the Idiot Brigade...I mean the GOP.

Mitt Romney & his magic underwear, Newt Gingrich and his multiple affairs, Sarah Palin the rolling car wreck or Bobby Jindal the exorcist.
What a pathetic line up, It time to clear out the trash and bring in Chuck Hagel!!

Ron Paul would make an excellent Secretary of State.
But that's as far as I'll meet you on that.
