Dabawenyo ako. I have been to Gensan, Cebu , Bohol. and while out of town i always miss Davao. Maganda din sa Bohol daming resorts. Cebu maganda daming high rise buildings pero ang streets kasi medyo madumi pa including abandoned buildings Pero ang ganda sa tinatawag nilang TOP ma view mo ang Cebu at night. Davao ang sarap mabuhay d2 kasi simple lng at malinis ang paligid. may mga lugar din na kulang sa linis pero d gaano.

Manila is more than 500 years old and so is Cebu.Davao was still a jungle in the 1800's. But look at davao now? almost at par with these senior citizen cities. Give it another 50 years and Davao will top them all......

@captaintim38 Many nice beaches on a nearby island called Samal, breath-taking city view seen from Jack's Ridge and Shrine, interesting David statue replica at Baywalk, and wonderful street-foods in the UM area.

By the way, "gringo" is, I think, only limited to Latin American countries. Here in the Philippines, "Kano" is the term for an American, as well as the phrase "Hey Joe!".
