36 What did the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil symbolized ?

I believe that the tree of life represents Jesus Christ and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents Satan. Jesus is the way the truth and the LIFE and satanism is a combination of black and white, good and evil. It makes sense!

Eat in the Hebrew is partake. Tree is lineage as family tree.Cain is Satan's seed and Abel Adam's seed . God speaks to Satan in Genesis 3 after the conception, and says "And I will put emnity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; and it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel". The geneology of Cain and Seth are given separately in the bible. Names in Cain's lineage similar cause Satan is a master copier and deceiver. Wheat Adams seed Tares Satan's seed!

Hi 777godwithme Thanks for your thoughtful comment! After the fall, humans were divided between God and Satan who have both claims on us. Cain and Abel are both born after the fall. Because A&E put Lucifer willingly in such position over humans, God had to restore the original order. This is why He is asking for the second son to love the elder son and for the elder son to submit to the 2nd son. Finally Jacob and Esau succeeded ! Because of that God gave Jacob the name of Israel.

Hi childofconvenant When A&E fell, they had not yet reach maturity. They were still growing spiritually. This is why God gave them the commandment, "You shall not eat". God created the force of love stronger than rules and principles. I have a video called the power of (UN) principled love that explained that. When someone reach indiviual perfection of his or her character then he or she cannot fall. It is called "direct dominion" A&E were still in the stage of indirect dominion when they fell.

@completedtestamentTV To be fruitful means to produce. To produce what? Perhaps joy, or peace, or children. Maturity doesn't fit in the definition. You have to smash that puzzle piece into place pretty hard to make it fit. And God made Eve to be Adam's wife and brought them together the day Eve was made. Genesis 1:23 seems to be wedding vows. And why would god warn Adam about the fruit of a tree that does not yet exist? There's more holes in this philosophy than swiss cheese.

@mngmel do you get it? The forbidden fruit? Be FRUITFUL and multiply. By having children thier creating more fruit like trees who provide a multiplicity of fruit. What happens when you eat fuit, you eat the seeds in the fruit, And it grows in you and you produce fruit/seeds which then grow into trees and it goes on and on and on.

Hi snakeeyes3883 God warned A & E that they should not eat of the fruit (forbidden fruit) until they had reached maturity (fruitful). This is why God did not bless their union/marriage and chased them out of the garden. cont.. the will of our father satan. A&E willingly listened to the false words of Lucifer instead of having absolute faith in God. They willingly put Lucifer in the position of God. What fruit was so tempting that they were willing to risk their life for it ? This video is very scriptural. God lost His precious son and daughter and his lineage. Jesus came as a new sinless Adam.

@Buizoa23 So you believe the fall is caused by the eating of a fruit  from a tree!!!. You also believe that a loving God would put a tree with fruits that can killed his beloved children right there in the middle of the garden. God did not approved of the union between A&E. They felt shame after the fall and hide their sexual organs. He chased them away from the garden and block the way to the tree of life which is not a real tree by the way.
