eject it and slot it again and it will continue running to the game. the ssbb has another format of the entire game because the file for ssbb is big and the wii needs to reconize the other half of the file
yes SSBB has indeed faced problems at the beginning, but at the end of the day, when you are playing this game for HOURS, you forget it EVER happened! On the other hand, I hope Nintendo starts to be a lot more careful when making game discs that are a little different to MOST wii games! Will they make ANOTHER dual-layer disc game? i hav a diff problem, my wii read the disc and it was all goin well for a long time until right b4 one match and all of a sudden a diff error pops up saying it cannot ready and to check operation manual, i ejected my cd, put it back (no restarting) and the game jus continued. this happened 2 times in total, it doesnt stop me from playing the game but its really annoying

unfortunately, I have the same problem and Im going to send it to nintendo, I tried using air pressure with some of those cans and it did not work. My recomendation send your wii to nintendo as soon as possible.
I have the same problem. Its the wii. The game is on a dual layered disc and the game disc is very sensitive to the lens. So the lens have to be clean. They even said smoking near your Wii can mess up the lenses. So I gotta send mines in as well.
I just got mine, and it didn't work, and I took it back for a replacement, and the game still didn't work. WTF? It really sucks. Now, I have to call Nintendo, and yell at them, and I have to wait longer just to play the game I've been waiting for since the launch dateof the Wii. This is really screwed up. This is cuz the Wii was rushed for christmas not a problem with the game the SSBB game is duel layer game disk. the rushed Wii's dont have Duel layer readers. th Nintendo website lets you print out a free FEDEX label thingy to send it to nintendo for a week to get it fixed with a new DUEL LAYER reader! Dont belive the bullshit about Dirty lenses thats and excuse! So they don't look lazy! If it was dirty then that means it needs CONSTAN CLEANING! IT DOSENT! thats whats goin on!

i hav a diff problem, my wii read the disc and it was all goin well for a long time until right b4 one match and all of a sudden a diff error pops up saying it cannot ready and to check operation manual, i ejected my cd, put it back (no restarting) and the game jus continued. this happened 2 times in total, it doesnt stop me from playing the game but its really annoying

Jesus. This has got to be the most annoying video on YouTube. So difficult to watch this guy mumble about nothing for 3 minutes. I can't believe you brought the disc back to the store 4 times before you decided to check the internet. lol.

i solved this problem temporarly. i had it too. what i did was thats i pushed down on the wii and it read the dick right when i inserted the disk

i have the same problem nd i got it today. i went to game crazy nd brought my wii there too. their wii couldnt read it too. he opened a new one nd it worked there but my wii didnt work. so now i searched the problem up. apperently it was something worng with the lens. so now imma try to clean it with a lens cleaner disc. hope that work if it still fail then nothing else to do but to send it to nintendo which i hope i dont need to do.

unfortunately, I have the same problem and Im going to send it to nintendo, I tried using air pressure with some of those cans and it did not work. My recomendation send your wii to nintendo as soon as possible.

I have the same problem. Its the wii. The game is on a dual layered disc and the game disc is very sensitive to the lens. So the lens have to be clean. They even said smoking near your Wii can mess up the lenses. So I gotta send mines in as well.

I just got mine, and it didn't work, and I took it back for a replacement, and the game still didn't work. WTF? It really sucks. Now, I have to call Nintendo, and yell at them, and I have to wait longer just to play the game I've been waiting for since the launch dateof the Wii. This is really screwed up. And I really hope Nitntendo gets their asses chewed out by their loyal fans. =^.^=

i have the problem as well :( i was so psyched for brawl too but not i gotta contact nintendo and get it repaired, free of charge though but no wii for a week :( i really wanted to play this game soooo badly :*(
