This format is designed differently. Since the players are guaranteed to be heads up in every situation there is a special rule variance to add strategies (i.e. showing the nut Ace, which is a move used in the big Omaha games) which give the audience a different perspective.

Moneymaker is there as a "wild card" - and his crazy mistakes make him fun to cheer against.

All tv poker is geared toward the viewer. I am en ex-producer and editor for several different tv events, so I'm not full of BS.
