Hey brainiacs, ballast = weight - I'm sure there was NO ballast added, lightweight foams, ect. maybe but, surely no ballast. I'm pretty sure an F150 is plenty heavy enough....
Not in the strictest sense is there ballast, but with the back engines (notice the side vent porting?), drive systems, materials, etc. pretty sure they've paid their dues to physics.
"adding ballast to get it to float"? hahaha :-) I'm not convinced having the hazard lights on is gonna help boat owners a lot but it's a nice piece of kit all the same.

there is no ballast , why you need ballast?
you want to have the truck as light as possible.
