@Oggyad ITB's (individual throttle bodies) are something you put on a fuel injected engine. Those are either Webber or Delorto sidedraft carburetors.

the ford fiesta mk4 they will never come near the ford mk3 or the ford mk2 or the mk1 . my ford fiesta passed the nct it is a mk4 fiesta it always driven slow i never pssed 60 mph i keped it well tuned 8 weeks laser i had to buy a gear box and a clutch and a starter i tink they are a shitty car it not as strong as the mk 3

Good job.The CVH is my fav engine of all engines I have worked on and used,good strong unit if looked after,plenty of grunt too,even in standard trim.Take a modern standard zetec and they are a really gutless wonder compared to std CVH,this due to zetec having eco fuel inj,choking cat,eco valves and timing,though if you bin the fuel inj,fit carbs and normal exhaust they pull really well,bloody eco catalyst shit,turning CO into CO2 which adds to global warming,all to keep high street CO down.

I had a very battered MK3 Escort 55 van with an XR2 engine.The engine appeared to have had some work done to it,it had a Rovertec? rockercover,flat top pistons and bigger valves,It went like stink! even with a standard carb,unfortunately the timing belt broke and knackered the valves,thats when I discovered the pistons and valves,boo hoo!!,I dont know if the bottom end had work done to it.I had to put a STD/cam head on it and it was never the same after,went well,but not like before :.( miss it
