Allready landed a few steelhaed since this catch SuperLovemaker1234. Our DVD about steelheadfishing in Skeena will be released spring 2012. More info on our web. Mossing og Stubberud Media AS
Thanks for the concern ribwart 2! It was catched and released in the Skeena river! It was nummered and catched again 3 months later in the Kispiox in great condition. The guy with the net is a professionl guide landing more than 400 steelhead every seasson! It is indeed a beatiful fish and a beautiful country!
...If you are proud of this catch you need to carefully re-examine what it is you respect and admire about fishing, because the way you have done it in this video is an embarrassment.
Please for the sake of the fish, give this some serious thought and change your ways before you come back here.
Looks like you are fishing Beautiful BC for our Steelhead...You need to learn how to handle our fish if you are going to play with them. First off, get your fingers out of it's gills in your "Magazine/cover shot" as your friends puts it. Second, whoever that guy is with you that is local should know better than to net that fish...gawd I hope you realized you needed to release this fish .
What are you doing? That is most likely an endangered wild Thompson Steelhead...
