Just curious what you did with your setup to attain around 10 minutes of flying time with a scale fuse on a Trex600E? I am flying a pod and boom right now Trex600E pretty much sport scale style with a low headspeed, running around 1700rpm a 10tooth pinion and i can only get around 7 minutes at 7.5 lbs. with 3400 MAH drawn on a 5000 MAH lipo. So what are you doing with this machine to get around 10 minutes? Thanks
Hi Clint, We use Pletenburg motors and flighttech EScs - they are extremely economical when running lower headspeeds - also, Flightpower 5000Mah packs - which go through extensive balancing - running them down to just above 18v after flying - we also use larger blades (saab are excellent) - we turn a lower headspeed and for alot of our flying putting less than 50% out of the ESC - as the ESC is so economical you waste less in heat, resulting in considerably longer flight times

i got that scale fuse for my trex 450xl!!!!!! painting it all black with yello tips on the rotors!!!!!!!!! awesome all i can say.
