very true. I was there and there was such a dispate group with no direction. Could have done with an alex jones type with a bullhorn. The police were looking for trouble all day and employing collective punishment. I just wanted to see the parade but ended up being corralled in and not being able to leave. I have cancer and needed to leave to take medication. luckily i manged to get out through one of the rushes.
