  • Very sad.

  • thanks for not stopping to help

  • What the hell was that driver thinking? Must have been in a real big hurry... And had a death wish

  • I wonder if the woman who sings in this song sang in Diablo 2' "harem" song...Oh,yea...and the truck...well...tough luck...

  • Also x001m69 if you lost your brakes due to heating and and glazing you were goin to fast to begin with don't try to tell me what I know from experience on descending a grade properly

  • Excuuuuse me...x001m69. Maybe I shouldn't have said they got what they deserved, but I have visual proof that he was indeed an idiot. How do you not know you are goin past posted speed limits in your truck?I've been 48 states Donner,Cabbage,Black Mountain,Fancy Gap,Flat Top,Mount Eagle,on Rt. 6 above Eisenhower Memorial Tunnel west of Denver hauling HazMat and all of the other no name hills and mountains don't tell me I can't make a judgement

  • fuck!!!

  • There some serious idiots making comments here. First and foremost thank you all the truck driver making comments good or bad thanks for what you few can do it and few can hang on the overnight run so some someone buying there goods at a store can have them. This donners pass not n carolina, the driver passing the accident did the right thing in passing the accident pulling over past it rather than before it, it's just to dangerous to stop before and possibly involve your self in one accident t

  • this looks like the gap in N Carolina only 50 mph speed limit this idiot was crankin and got what he deserved

  • @bigcatxpress Someone dies and all you can do is call them an idiot and say they deserved it? Maybe they were inexperienced and didn't realize they were going to fast. maybe they knew full well they were goin to fast and made errors braking and lost the brakes due to overheating. This vid is used in training and I was advised the two that died were rookies with both less than 4 months on the job. YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH INFO TO MAKE SUCH CRUEL JUDGEMENTS!

  • I wonder if he died????

  • Can i ask why he kept going even through the dust! If there was the driver on the ground he'd have gone straight over him/her!

  • @16Pulk It takes a long ways to stop an 18 wheeler, especially at this point on donner your brakes may aleady be hot & have less power to stop you quickly. I run donner quite a bit & see other truckers take it to fast all the time. I am suprised there are not more truck accidents on it.

  • what song is this?

  • LOL Indian music?

  • I went to C R England training school and they use this video to show how easy it is to roll a rig. They told me that the driver of the semi and the driver of the pickup were involved with road rage and thats why the other truck had the camera on. As a professional driver i could tell you that the driver with the video camera knew something was going to happen at the speed he was going coming down donner

  • i don,t think he will dump ever again, the poor guy died, together with a second person in this accident, don,t make sick jokes.i,m a truckdriver myself!and can tell you that an accident can happen in a split-second!these people were haulin to make you,re life conveniant, don,t ever forget that!

  • @cabovertrucker Im a trainee and this scared the living shit out of me.. Id rather go slower and get fired for late delivery then this.,. This was insane and so so sad to see im so sorry for the 2 people who perished . ANYONE making rude comments can fuck themselfs, because look around EVERYTHING around you was on a semi truck at one time... APPRECIATE what these people do for us all..

  • @danomaha420118 apreciate it that, last few weeks,i have seen to much accidents again, where a lt of people died in it,all in germany, which is the country i cross when i,m up to scandinavia!sick, realy sick accidents, that realy makes you think, and makes you realize that lifes so fragile,i thank god on my bear knees that it,s still did,nt catched me!although i try to do the best, not to get it,but its just not in you,re hands!A PRAYER TO ALL THE truckers, who did,nt made it!AMEN!

  • Driver of the white truck: "Fuck the jakes I gotta shit!"

  • why didn't it turn into a transformer?

  • Yes, you can see the truck with the camera do what he is required by law to do, find a safe place to stop.

Grabbing a cellphone while driving or using the qualcomm is in violation of company policy as well as being unsafe.

    This driver did good!

  • :O omg! :|

  • Did he lived?

  • @CanineFeces2 From what I understand, the driver was a rookie and his trainer was in the back sleeping. Both did not live.

  • fake, the camera was tilted to look like it turned. As for the street and the smoke, spliced in film to get it perpendicular :0) great observation huh?

  • @jabrown45100 Yeah you're right... and now you go buying yourself a set of specs.

  • @sonnylatchstring

say again fram thar down yonder crusty ole !!

  • @jabrown45100 Hebban olla uogala nestas hagunnan hinase hic anda thu uuat unbidan uue nu?

  • @sonnylatchstring yup, oste la vista, tuscalosa, Tasmania 34222

  • Did this guy survive?

  • @AndyJay15 two people were killed in the truck if I remember correctly. :(

  • @AndyJay15 Heres the link to the original video from the ORIGINAL uploader, enjoy! youtube.com/watch?v=Tx0jXI2VyJ8

  • @TheCallo18 Ouch :( And thank you.

  • ам... is it me, or it`s really not bothering anyone that the car driver DIDN`T STOP TO HELP??? or was it an auto-pilot?...

  • Truck driver: Damn you Peppy!!

  • I have been "trying it at home" for over 20 years now...

How else could You make a buck at it?

practice makes perfect..If You think Donner is so bad, come up the Alaska Highway...

  • this idiot driving the truck diserves to have his license suspended indefinatelly

  • What is that song? Please title

  • sorry to see this and hear that the drivers didnt make it.rip

  • ok i was showed this video in training and our trainer told us it was a trainee driving with the trainer asleep in the sleeper which he has to do eventually. couldve been a scare tactic but who knows. they fell off the mountain and both did die so prob not good to make fun of this

  • jajajajaja badass driver, but what happened to the truck??

  • I certainly hope that the driver who was filming got out and secured the scene as best as he could (i.e with his triangles).

  • ha nice

  • SHIITT MY BRAKES!!!!!

  • the driver was a student driver and the co driver fell asleep is what i heard.

  • I thought semi's weren't allowed in the passing lane

  • Whats the weird music?

  • THats what the dumb ass gets for breaking the law going fast and shit.

  • Did you stop and help him or did you just drived further without care?

  • You didn't stop the car, did you help?

  • I would like to know why the driver who video taped it didn't stop and help the other driver, That really sucks. Thanks for the help England !!!

  • Notice no brake lights.

  • do you know if he died?

  • Everybody clap your hands. Another successful Knight Transportation employee showing their skills on the road as a professional driver!!!!

  • The driver who filmed this has my admiration. He responded exactly right.

  • would you know why the driver didnt stop and help

  • daaaamn

  • bad driversssssssssssssssss

  • This is right next to my house. Trucks always go flying down 3 mile and roll. but its cool to see it on video.

  • slow down

  • i rolled mine into a ditch yesterday, luck i only left with a bruised leg and a sore head after i was thrown out of drivers seat into passengers seat smashed my head through passenger window and when it hit the bank i was thrown into widscreen..lucky or what...will put pics on my channel in a few days

  • Trash13, I know this isn't your video but do you know why the camera was on? Is it some sort of "standard procedure" for a camera to be left on, or was the driver aware that this driver was driving poorly and was possibly going to cause an accident?

  • It was a C.R. England driver and it was pretty much luck of the draw. He was wanting to record the beautiful scenic drive over donner mountain and the rest as they say is history.

  • Wow. He certainly captured something beyond scenic on that trip.

  • @trlrtrash13 Wow!!! what are the odds of something like that happening. just out of the blue, and just happen to be filming. That is a one in a million shot.

  • were you the walmart truck driver behind him???because that was my uncle david sleeping in the back of the truck ....i didnt know the driver but hes a dumbass!:)

  • @ScubaSteve1974 It was a walmart driver, several of us use cameras

for our own protection, and entertainment . Its not a safe profession anymore.

  • @ScubaSteve1974 it might be because I know it is standard procedure for the railroads to leave them on.

  • it was a walmart truck, they are all equipped with safety cameras like cop cars

  • @dirty530crawlers no they're not.

  • @skittlesandsquirrels Do you Live In the sierras near donner summit?? is your cousin chp who has facts on the video?? IF SO GET YOUR FACTS STRIAGHT!! this video came from 45 mins from my house.

  • @dirty530crawlers woah what are you talking about? I was talking about not ALL walmart trucks are equipped with dash cams. My dad works for Crete Carriers who hauls Wal*Mart Groceries, and freuently associates with Wal*Mart Drivers...so...idk what i said that torqued you off but....sorry....?

  • @skittlesandsquirrels its cool but my family member is chp and was on scene and told me how this was captured. the driver of the truck that crashed was licensed for only a few days. and walmart corporate trucks have cameras is what i was told .

  • @dirty530crawlers oh. well i was just sayin that not ALL of Wal*Mart trucks have cameras lol (not laughing at what hapened in the video...)

  • Fail

  • He must have had a Volvo, those things handle like "sports-trucks"!

  • I looked at the fenders as the truck flew by, it looked like an older Freightliner FLD or Century.

This accident is the exact reason why truckers need a raise; cheap freight forces a person to run too hard to make the money. There should be no excuse except for mechanical failure to run that fast down a mountain. You can't stop.

  • from reading all of the comments...if its true...if both drivers were killed, prayers go out to the families...also if this driver was a new driver 9 days in the seat, the Trainer should of not been sleep while he attempts down a steep grade, im sorry...that was foul on his part...I myself went thru truck training 23 yrs ago and me and the trainer did not go team status until well after 4 weeks..sad it had to end that way..regardless of driving 2 fast or faulty equipment..

  • damn tht truck had such speed tht he almost overtook the pickup infront of him

and did you just keep on driving ?!

  • dumb arse trukie drives off WTF

  • the driver of the other truck did not drive off. He went through the debris, down about a hundread yards and found a safe place to park his truck. So before you leave stupid comments, please make sure you know what you are talking about.

  • how do u know that???????fuckwit

  • Duh dumbass... it shows the truck doing the filming stopping.... you really should know what you are talking about before you comment!! What a fucking retard you are.

  • If your dumb ass would pay more attention he had to pull over to a safe spot so I suggest you get your story straight before you begin making rude comments asshole.

  • that is the result oh high speed drivers with that massive weight. Its hard, but i think it is the right end ! Greetings from germany

  • There is a law that if you stop to help anyone in the United States who is a victim of a medical emergency, due to whatever reason, you are protected from any form of criminal prosecution because you are acting as a first responder. I am pretty sure its called the good samaritan act or something like that.

  • That is a good law. because you won´t consider to do First Aid if you could be prosecuted for that.

We got a course of First Aid, but if I had to use it in reality I think I would but I would be very scared to do something wrong.

Why are people in such a hurry?

Better be a little late and in once piece .. than turn over and never make it. And how much time will you loose if you make turns a little bit slower but safe anyway?

That can´t take up much time ...

  • What I don't understand is that this FILMING truckdriver goes on after he seen this accident?

Are you not by Law supposed to stop and HELP the victims???

  • Go around the accident and stop ahead.

  • Well, AngeliqueEU, as you can see, 80,000lbs doesn't stop on a dime, especially downhill. That was the reason the truck rolled in the first place. He was going too fast down Donner. And no we aren't required by law to stop and in fact really can't as parking a 75 foot vehicle usually requires a place to park it..... You see what happenend. The FILMING truckdriver stopped as quick as he could without running into an inanimate object like the guy that rolled over.

  • For sure. But he wasn't gonna hit the other guy cause he went WAY over the edge. Gotta agree with ya. We can't stop these damn things very well. Especially on that steep decline to add to all things

  • also take notice that the semi that rolled over it didn't stop on a dime either....so i agree "the" u can't just stop a semi on a dime especially on a step down grade, all of us who has been down "donner pass" as well as any of them know that...

  • if u watched the full version, and of course remembering that his truck would take a tremendous long time to stop on this grade, he does indeed pull over and return on foot

  • so where can I find this FULL version?

Cause tras**13 is going on about Obama and Canadians ;)

  • well, the first time I ever saw this vid was on here, and it was the full version, and it was posted by the guy who apparently filmed it. He seemed to know enough about the details of the crash that I believed him. Not sure of his user name, but Im sure its still on here somewhere. Good luck!

  • thanks.

There is more and more in the internet.

And therefor even harder to find what you´re looking for ... but I´ll give it a try ;)

  • I wish the full version was available...would like to know the story, sadly neither driver around to contest to all of the accusations but o well

  • @cwideman46

the driver of the truck was a trainee and his trainer was sleeping in the cab, he panicked and couldnt slow down in time, killed them both

  • watch?v=wifwg6xWVAU&feature=related

this link is the actual driver of the truck that filmed it, he has after pictures too

  • The full version of this crash is by the author named The Barberian, the original driver who filmed the accident.

  • I don't think he went around and kept going. I think he was just trying to stop and it took him that long to get stopped in a safe place. I first heard about this on a truckin show on XM Radio. Definately a sad ending to what very well could've been avoided by just slowing down.

  • No police there, djtzepy. Thats the warning sign about the sharp curve he was about to come up on. Been down this grade a dozen times, it's nothing to play around with - especially if you're fully loaded. 80,000 lbs not only refuses to stop on a dime, it makes a hell of a mess too! Another example proving that complacency kills. Sympathy to the families though, very hard to lose someone this way.

  • one thing ive learned about west coast folk, they dont know how to fuckin drive, especially in snow, no concept of momentum or traction, as soon as the light turns yellow they STOP,tell me thats not dangerous

  • they running from the police if you look closer in right corner you se their flashlights reflecting from that road sign at the start of the video:D

  • thats so sad! they launched off the edge :( feel so sad

  • Comment removed

  • I got it from my safety department, but the driver and his co driver were both killed.

  • Comment removed

  • @heinzhofmann i hope you are in a car accident and brake your whole body and fucking be in a wheel chair ass

  • Comment removed

  • @heinzhofmann Well it looks like you got your wish, I hope your anger is satiated. Not only the driver was killed, but the passenger as well - I wonder, do you think he also deserved to die? I agree that dangerous drivers shouldn't be on the road, and indeed some solve their own problem by getting themselves killed - but by your comment, sir, it sounds as if you would gladly take the law into your own hands - and it's this attitude of negative intent that I fear more greatly than any poor driver

  • we will never get rid of the 55MPH speed limit for trucks in California as long as BS like this keeps happening.

  • yeah I dont think Habib and Ahkmed walked away from that one... *shaking head*

  • People just need the slow the hell down. That's all folks. SLOW DOWN! The white pickup ahead of him was going to fast too. Couldn't even stay in his own lane. Everyone's in such a hurry. GET OVER IT AND SLOW THE HELL DOWN!

  • where the fuck did it go??? lol

  • Danm

Why didn't you stop and help

  • i know, anyone in there right mind would surley have gone down after them to see if they needed a hand

  • Yeah he was probably seriously injured.

  • the reason the person who posted this didnt stop cause this moron stole the video from someone else

  • Stole it? Or had it sent to me by my safety director. Option two. As far as morons go... why didn't the driver stop? He did. But he was going down the mountain with a full load so it takes awhile. I edited that part out.

  • he was going way to fast

  • menudo hijo de puta. parate al menos cabron! gente como tu da asco

  • been down this hill many times pulling a tanker trailer, lower gear and use the jake, never had a problem but I can see how it can happen when you get a newbe out the behind the wheel, too bad they had to learn by crashing. peace to all you truckers ! be safe . Thanks for the vid

  • The driver of this truck only had his CDL for about 2 weeks and didnt have any mountain driving experience. ALSO, the co-driver was in the sleeper cab and he died along with the driver - he was a father of 3 just trying to make a living for his family...show some respect people...2 people died, kids lost their father and a woman lost her husband.

  • first off even though this guy was speeding dangerously have some fucking respect for them losing their lives man. i drive as well and even though i not only have the experience but the common sense to know how take her down slow and easy im sickened to my stomach watching you cockbags make fun of the deceased. i bet i have more miles under my belt going backwards than you faggots do driving period. fuck off and have some respect or the next video i watch about this shit might be you fuckers

  • @cedtrucker82

making fun of people with accidents is wrong.

but causing accidents is wrong too. truck drivers do not only endanger themselves but EVERYBODY else on the road. So: no respect for insane truck drivers. I feel sorry for them if they crash BUT at the same time they should be punished for endangering all the other car drivers on the road!

  • @TheSunmanho some crashes aren't even their fault

  • @cedtrucker82 I support you for being a good semi-truck driver. Also, share some stories with me like have you ever hit anything or have you ever see any scary car crashes ?

  • @cedtrucker82 Agreed. I called in a fair few of them because they speed down the mountain and a couple even came close to the guard rails. Once I see a straight away I drop a gear and pass it. No need to see it, if, it topples over.

  • @cedtrucker82 driver,you demand respect by speaking respectfully.not by cursing disrespectfully........please?

  • top heavy load

  • Nope, to fast for the curve plus he hit his brakes as he entered the curve, causing the roll over.

  • it doesent matter he had reduce his speed, if he was empty he wouldve fly on the truck with camera

  • Stunning, but I wish it didnt have the towelhead music in the background...

  • hahah so true , well said

  • As a trucker for 22 years i have seen this once proud industry go straight to hell.

  • ..and its taking all the freight with it.

  • yeah,

my uncle was sleeping in the cab when that douche bag was doing 75 in a 45

  • What sucks is, your uncle was driving. Burn.

  • @zfalcon1995

Well, if indeed that was your uncle, he shouldn't have been sleeping when a newbie was learning about mountain driving. He should have been in the passenger seat observing and coaching him along. That's the problem with these effing trainers in trucking companies......they are more concerned about using other drivers to rack up their own mileage/pay than they are in doing their jobs and training newbies to become safe drivers.

  • Im a mechanic at a truck shop. We saw this video when the safety people came in. She said that both guys in the truck died. They had ther CDL almost 1 week.

  • And that is the problem, way too many guys and gals put into a 40 ton tractor-trailer with little or no experience. I don't blame the drivers but the companies.

  • What an idiot.

  • I wonder if the guy was thinking, Ohh crap I really gotta go to the bathroom, I'll drive as fast as I can down this steep hill so I can get there faster

  • Well you can bet your ass he shit his pants hard after that ordeal.

  • Both people in the truck died.

  • Wow
