A few years back Barbara Walters did a special about transgendered children. You should look up on YouTube. There were some parent who said that at 15 months their son wanted to play with dolls and wanted to wear dresses. He even acted like a girl. The parents say the children would cry and have fits if they did not let them dress like girls. They have gender identity disorder.

Revisiting my post related to "The Princess Boy", I think if it is something that continues to go on in the boy's life, his parents should definitely speak him to about it... 2) Juan Williams just expressed his emotions, however, when I think of Muslims, I do think of the traditional garb, (i have Muslim ancestors). "Anyone can be a terrorist," but the media almost always portrays terrorists to be Muslim, so it sticks in your mind.

Um what I haven't heard anyone say about the Glee controvery is that Glee is rated TV-14 so your young kind should not be watching it to begin with. And they weren't doing this to promote Glee, they did it because they wanted too. I think the real issue here is that, people don't see actors as real people they see them as their characters.

The line is drawn like so: If the actors are promoting Glee, or children's show then it needs to be age appropriate marketing. If the actors are doing a mature role then market accordingly. Here's a little food for thought: With Glee being one of America's favorite shows, they may be trying to gain interest among adult ("A-delt" as Makael says) men, which is probably why they are posing for GQ to gain their interest in the show. Also, Glee is known to be a racey show that isn't exactly for kids.

The men who where women's clothes might not see it as women's clothes but just as clothes there are comfortable with. Also the boy "princess boy" may just be using questioning the status que. If some one walked up to your face and said you do this because you're supposed the first thing that comes up in many of our minds is why? 5-6 years old is usually when children are starting their "why years" and the boy could just be unconvinced with the answers given to him.

A few years back Barbara Walters did a special about transgendered children. You should look up on YouTube. There were some parent who said that at 15 months their son wanted to play with dolls and wanted to wear dresses. He even acted like a girl. The parents say the children would cry and have fits if they did not let them dress like girls. They have gender identity disorder.

Revisiting my post related to "The Princess Boy", I think if it is something that continues to go on in the boy's life, his parents should definitely speak him to about it... While I don't agree with ALL of what Makael is saying, he is right in the sense that if this boy dressing up in girl's clothing goes on throughout the kid's childhood, he will be bullied and possibly traumatized from the humiliation he will face as he gets older, he also might actually start to THINK he's a female...
