this is my third to the moon walkthrough series and it seems i'm the only one who thinks this is very similar to Rahxephon... i mean rahxephon also has a boy losing memory and a girl who remembers (but she doesnt try to make the boy remember like River does) and Rahxephon's movie version's ending which fixes things only in dream/memory since you can't change what already happened, etc. i just don't wanna be the only person who thinks this way, hahah. OR i guess ppl didn't watch Rahxephon...
I'm very good at keeping control over my emotions, but dang it! This was a game that needed to have tears shed upon. This is possibly the most heart-touching games ever! Thanks for showing us this, Cry!~ :')

Can't believe I just sat down to watch 1 or 2 parts of this, after having just earlier played through the game myself, and ended up watching the WHOLE damn game again. I'm now going to bed at 7 freakin' A.M.
Gotta say, the 2nd time was better. More "clicked" in regards to things not outright explained, true of a lot complex stories (*cough*Charlie Kaufman*cough*).
I think I figured out what the overarching plot to the series might be. It's really Memoryception! We're actually in the memories of Rosalene, and they're doing the exact same thing on her! This is her memory of this job. There are several odd Notes totally unrelated to Johnny in the game ("agoraphobia", "Dr. Watts"). There's the painkillers issue that's left completely unresolved. The deja-vu squirrels in Pt.9 are never explained. Of course, they could be ANIMORPHS! :D Wait and see, I guess. :)
This story was equally wonderful, and tragic. Just all the little tid-bits you can go back and think about truly make this a masterpiece. The whole time I felt the need to have tears, but they never really came. I just kept that "on-the-verge" feeling, with the mixture of happiness and sadness. The ending videos, especially this one, caused all those tears to just pour out. Not many things can do that to me. Haha, my girlfriend is probably wondering why she's being treated all lovey-dovey...
Damn. Kao really outdid himself with the story in this game. I like his other games but I did, honestly, dismiss him as sticking to his comfort zone of romance with some lighthearted comedy sprinkled in.
This game went all over the place, though, and in a good way. It shows that he is capable and willing to write some dramatic and thoughtful stuff, and it's probably one of the most unique stories I've ever seen told in a game.
Well as nice an ending it was for John I can't help feeling sorry for River who tried to remind him of their first meeting. Which I guess was why he was upset because he couldn't remember it. In comparison my life is rubbish, someone better invent that machine.

Cry, watching this I have cried. I have said "aww". I have laughed. But mainly cried. It is not often that I am moved so heavily by things. Because of this, my second born daughter shall be named River Moon. Thoughts?
If any game deserved an Academy award, not a game award but an academy. It would be this one hands down. I cried, I laughed, I was terrified and at times angry but that ending was so brilliant. There's no words for this. I only wish that some how this can be made into a movie. It would blow out the box office. Cry again you never fail to surprise me with the quality of game walkthroughs you do, and to the magnificent Kan Gao I hope your soul will rest on the moon.

Did Cry ever realise that when old River made the yellow and blue rabbit and asked what is it, she was referring to the yellow moon and blue night sky?

When Johnny first meets River at the carnival she points out a rabbit in the night sky, with the moon being the belly and the stars being the ears and feet. The origami rabbits were her way of trying to remind him of this meeting, which he had repressed due to the beta blockers given to him for Joey's death. Remember, the multi-colored rabbit was yellow in the middle (the moon) and blue for the feet and ears (the night sky).
And Watts is on painkillers. It's not elaborated yet.
"Game" doesn't fully describe what To the Moon is. "Experience" is what I would call it. And what an experience it is. I came in to this playthrough expecting to just watch you play it for me, but now that it's over, I can say with total honesty that I will be buying this. It is truly something one of a kind, and the people who made it are amazingly gifted who deserve a lot more recognition. Never before has a game made me feel this way. Thank you Freebird Games, and thank you Cry.
I am incredibly amazed that an indie game developer has come out with something as fantastic as this. The storyline was cute at first, but then took on an entirely new dynamic -- I'm stunned. This is amazing.

And she did get her wish, after all, in not getting treatment... one sad way to get out of a messed up situation. I enjoyed it all the same though. I think the red flash at the end is hinting that they themselves are in a memory, and not actually real. Something to do in the sequel, perhaps.

Didnt cry through any other parts of the lets play but when river put out her hand i started to bubble then at that exact moment my girlfriend sends me a picture of her in bed with a cushion i bought her for christmas in my t shirt. Dear god it was perfect!

Something weird happened after I saw this video. I didn't get teary while watching it at all, but some hours later I decided to listen to the beautiful soundtrack. And while listening to some of the heartbreaking songs, I suddently began to silently cry. So now I'm sitting here, kinda crying.

What does it mean if I didn't feel sad while watching this series?
I enjoyed it all the same though. I think the red flash at the end is hinting that they themselves are in a memory, and not actually real. Something to do in the sequel, perhaps.

this game has got to be one of the best 2D games this year, and shows that you do not need 3D and fancy stuff to make an excellent game. thanks for sharing this with us cry, and I hope they'll make a sequel (the ending pretty much just yells for it, what with neil taking something/red flash in the screen/ "Episode 1; To the Moon [check]".

Something weird happened after I saw this video. I didn't get teary while watching it at all, but some hours later I decided to listen to the beautiful soundtrack. And while listening to some of the heartbreaking songs, I suddently began to silently cry. So now I'm sitting here, kinda crying.

I can't believe that it's been already 12 days of me watching this game. I was always watching it in one breath, sometimes crying or sometimes laughing.
Anyway, I just want to thank you Cry for playing it. More people need to know about this game, the story is too beautiful to not to be known. I hope that there will be episode 2 for sure!
