I saw this video on vividracing. I'm comparing different systems. I like how the HKS Hi power keeps the signature drone of the VQ at low RPM's then sounds like an angry bitch at high RPM's lol.

Hi Tommy, i have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL.....its a 4 cylinder engine. I was just wondering, every nissan 350 Z and Infiniti G35 (STOCK) has this special sound... is it the specific exhaust system or something to do with the engine....because ur G35 even with the HKS exhaust has the same sound... i want to mod my Altima to sound like a 350 or G35

Thanks! But I'd recommend getting some high-flow cats instead. They didn't have the rasp, the gas smell, and were just about as loud as the test pipes.

High flow cats go for around $500 new. You can get them used for around $300.

I bought the exhaust from Creative Autoworks, out in Cali. I installed the exhaust. You mentioned Lokey...you sound local. Have you check out the Florida G35 Club yet?

Yeah, it was due to the test pipes. I had them removed and went back to my high-flow cats. Now the car is turbo and has no cats again:)
