@060991gemini no britian had idol but then simon went to x factor and that took over in britian and loads of big stars have come out of x factor like leon lewis, JLS ,alexandra burke and so on with idol its just girls and boys with x factor its girls boys groups and over 25s and the juges even compete against each over plus the auditions are held in front of a live audience which is alot better just wait until x factor is out in US you will see

randy should definitely go on x factor..im 100% sure he would enjoy it cuz the format is really cool and all auditions get to be done infront of an audience which should show u who the real stars are..i live in NA but i have to say that the top 12 of the xfactor this year could have easily beaten any american idol winner or contestant

Paula, gone. Simon, Gone. By attrition, Randy rises to the top the American Idol Judge List. Cara knows her stuff. And then there's Ellen. I mean, come on Dawg. Careful though Randy, Cara has the musical edge. So far, you guys have had some 16year old girls that are strong. There was one little gal that yall cut short. I wasn't sure where she was going but I would have like to have seen her hit/miss the note. Usually by now I've seen some for certain top ten, not so sure, but yall hide a lot.
