@Stephaniebobo THank you for your comment. This is a silicone mat which I purchased from The Pampered Chef. However you may find something like it in the baking section of any store that sells cookware. Sometimes they are called SilPat. HTH
you can also get a large bowl and a slightly smaller one, load th large one up with garlic, put the smaller one over to make a dome, and shake REALLY hard for a couple minutes, and the skin comes off and no damage. i had our little mexican dishwasher swindle me out of $30 with that trick.
I have yet to buy an actual head of garlic because I didn't want to fool around with peeling it (coughing "lazy"... easy cook here LOL). So, I buy the garlic that's already minced in the jar (packed in oil or water). I buy mine from the ethnic food market, so it's cheaper than those expensive, little jars in the regular grocery store. Since, I am also the "substitution queen", I use garlic powder a lot. Thanks for the tip and your nails look fabulous!
@BargainClipper LOL about the "lazy" part. Once you try it, you may prefer it over the jarred stuff. The jarred stuff is good in a pinch. Nothing beats the flavor of fresh though girl. I use garlic powder too. Thanks for the compliment & thanks for commenting. :O)
Hi, this method looks good, please tell me what is this kind of mat.
