  • thats sooo weird i live there!! the road is rubbish there now, loads of debrey and pot holes. i would only do this on a hot day and then i wouldnt push it its that bad

  • gunna go try this all out when its next dry! cheers dude!

  • Good word. No need for a soundtrack.

  • Firstly 39, not 40, basic maths. Secondly, NBD, what's that, never been dicked? Correct, i haven't, you maybe have but i wouldn't brag about it. Lastly, i'm a track instructor at Brands and teach little asbo tossers like you how to go round corners for a living, so if you want you can come along, pay your money, and i'll show you how shit your riding actually is Numb-nuts.

  • 40 Next birth Day, sure im up for that please send a link to your riding school and I will come for a day, im sure your nice really just finding it hard to accept we are all different with different abilities. so if your genuine drop the nasty attitude it does you no favours and note How shit my riding was, the video is four years old and for your info im also 39 not a little asbo tosser so drop the presumptions

  • Well fuck me, i've been getting my kneedown in all of my gears not just 3rd, all this time i've been doing it wrong, RETARD!!!

  • Note: foggie1972 (who is 40 NBD) has no videos available.

  • your riding twisted mate you need to look down the side of the bike aswell you will find it much more comfortable. but good job any way

  • Great vid but would prefer to hear engine tone. Nice bike

  • Excellent choice of music dude!! ;-)

  • Sweet vid dude...!!

  • needs a bit more detail on hanging off technique appart from that good advice!

  • good vid, man... but i don't understand what's hard about it... i put my knee down, after riding a bike for a month :s it's just a matter of knowing what you can do and have the confidence to do it...

  • great vid and tips..happy ridin mate

  • great vid mate, got my knee down for the first time today on that very roundabout, i think you must have inspired other people to go there because a guy who lived there stopped his car in the middle of the road and had a go at me and my mate saying he was sick of bikes going there and riding round it all the time, ha

  • good vid fella, well laid out. well done....

  • I've got a silly question, but PLEASE answer it:

When you steer into the roundabout, do you actually counter-steer??

  • @SethArmaddos Yes, counter-steer..... or you'll fall off!

  • One question (please answer) :

When you enter the roundabout HOW do you corner, ...countersteering, right??...

  • Cool Vid .. .. Thanks for posting it :)

  • i can do it on my moped :) great video

  • did u say the body off seat thingy step or did i miss it?

  • pity music is gone, lucky u have subtitles !!

  • Top Man great video, I will give it a go!!!

  • hi, i have a suzuki bandit 600 and i feel when im riding it that i cant put my knee on the floor, do you think it would be able to go over far enough for meto be able to? and how much time did you spend practicing before you actualy got your knee down for the first time? thanks.

  • get your arse out of the seat and body hanging off-try to imagine you are looking round a door

  • good video, thanks for it!

  • Good vid, i shall enjoy practising as i love corners and leaning anyway

  • Great Video, I got the pefect round about in mind..thanks for the tips! Will let you know how it goes :)

  • This is why we need proper roundabouts in USA. A rider who can't drag a knee at any speed is a rider who can't handle an emergency situation.

  • wow good tips although i can showboat abit i just got my restricted access in march and leearnt to get my knee down in about september on my gsxr400 everything in this video is correct from what i know

  • I envy all of you with roundabouts, that looks a lot of fun.

  • nice video

  • I envy you guys from countries where you drive on the left side, because you can turn right on the roundabout and it's much better for me than turning left ;-)

  • thats gas! i'd love to scrape my knee on roundabouts goin left! up the usa. but you dont really have many roundabouts there do ya!

  • Nice coincidence :) I really love right turns...

I don't know how about USA, but in Czech republic is huge amout of roundabouts.

  • Very good tips!

I'd also like to learn how to put my knee down safely and snugly, but for a pretty long time, since crash on my previous bike,I don't have the mentioned confidence in my tires.I have new dual compound tires with lot more grip than I'll ever be able to use,but still is some doubt in my mind.I'll try to follow your instructions and hopefully I'll manage to do that :)

  • i used to think that too but i learned on the track that you can put the knee down on any tire no mattter how shit or worn they are once theyre warm.

  • Good work fella,

It took about 3 years as well, finally managed it on my 97 Blade...

Knee down is the holy grail of biking, and awesome when you finally manage it somewhere other than a roundabout...

  • what was your speed?

  • Nice Vid m8 and nice quality!

what sort of camera set up are you using?

    thanks

  • Good work.

  • great vid and tips but you really need to lose the music it would really help to hear the engine and the best part of getting your knee down is hearing that scraping sound just a thought

  • Nice vid mate, used to get myt knee down all the time a few yrs ago on my 95 cbr600 but gsxr k2 600 I cant for the life of me do it!

  • Top video mate. Its way harder to get your knee down on the road than the track, so thats quite an achievement. Was it worth the wait?

  • yes it was still haven't managed to the the left though lol

  • good video,im from lincoln myself so will try that roundabout

  • Excellent video

  • Great vid matey!!

  • cool vid mate nicley put together

  • Cool vid, bit different doing that on a bandit 6 with a 50 jack up on the back :(

  • Nice technique, smooth and safe. Congrats.

  • Cool vid, most of the basics are there, but I'll tell you what, you take that bike to the track to ride it like it was meant to be ridden and you'll find both of your knees down before you realize you're doing it and you'll be a LOT safer rider on the street too!!! It's amazing what you learn in the proper environment.

    Happy riding!

  • Thx for these last few comments thats very nice of you, im going to Donnington park on the 210807 and will let you know how I get on tryin on the track, cheers

  • do u even need to drop ur knee at those slower speeds u were taking those turns at or were u just trying to drop ur knee to make it look good

  • buy a belt sander twat

  • Lol good comment, thanks for watching but I got a new K7 instead and it handles better in the bends

  • Cheers mate, I reckon what you have shown is all good, clean and harmless.

    a wee bit of fun

  • STEP 11 DONT LET ANYONE YOU KNOW SEE YOU

  • You tubes a public place, all comments welcome even weird ones lol!!!

  • cheers 4 the comment mate see you at cadwell park!

  • put these in youtube: "First Knee Down - June 10 2007" and "how to get your knee down - knee down tips"

  • nice video mate i have just posted some of me getting my knee down for the first time and had a go at an instructional video haha... tell me what you think. i'm 18 and have a restricted licence can i still ride cadwell park?? whats it like?

  • I'll never forget the date of my first knee down experiance. 03/09/05. Dickleburgh roundabout in Norfolk, right knee and boy it felt good. Great vid. Very true, have confidence in your tyres but heat in them and the correct pressures are essential.

  • Yes it is amazing the first time it happens, my SRADS gone now 4 a K7 750 TTltd, knee down is in the post on it and what a bike. Thx for your remark have fun!!!

  • Just remember to lean forward as you hang off the bike, keeping your weight on the front tire.

If you lean directly sideways, or back at all, you take the weight away from the front tire and this is where a lowside will occur.

  • Thanks for watching, that was nice of you to leave this informative comment check back soon for my IOMTT vid !!!!!!!!!

  • It's good. Now do it to the left...

  • Its true!!! I have not done it to the left yet thanks for the responce I will let you know if I manage it.
