  • Damn that Squire is LOADED

  • @FRANCIS6189 More than $2,000 in options. Alot for back then!

  • I used to have a 72' country squire. It also had a 429 as well. man that beast was fast. lol

  • We used to call station wagons with the wood trim as wagons that forgot that didn't have the crate removed.

  • Nice wagon but lose the music and let's hear that 429.

  • @MidnightinSavannah agreed!

  • Never saw a vinyl top on a wagon!

  • @VictrolaJazz I Just recently bought some pictures of a 70 with a vinyl roof. That is the only one I have ever seen. I wonder if it's my wagon?

  • @fatalcoolfatalcool I don't know, but the chances would seem good seeing as how it's the same color! I'm sure that is very rare. Ford just had a knack with wagons that seemed to be missing in other brands--wish I'd bought one when they were plentiful!

  • nice party wagon man, are those frolf discs in the back?

  • @TheCrocodilerock91 golf discs

  • @TheCrocodilerock91 golf discs yup

  • Keep it original , no cragars please, will be worth far more.

  • @ChrisC1 Always!

  • Built back when the men were men

    and the sheep were nervous!

  • @vorevox lol

  • I remember a relative having one of these way back then...Huge!

  • What a beauty... Ford made great interior colors. I think this interior trim color was called Ginger; looks great with the white exterior and the saddle vinyl roof.

Also, the dashboard pod was a brilliant design in the 1969 and 1970 full-size Fords... way ahead of its time, and provided the front passenger with a huge amount of room.

  • Man, I used to own this same car. I took it to get a tune up and they draiuned the oil and forgot to put the oil back in and killed my car back in 99'

  • @SheVamps that suck's!

  • @SheVamps i don't trust anyone with my 69 ltd. always do it myself

  • man im tired of deam song lol

  • If I ever take a road trip cross-country, I'm buying a Ford LTD Country Squire.

  • That's... one of the coolest wagons ever? Of course... A great sleeper too.

  • 1969 was the same design i had a wagon you could not kill it i also had a dodge dart ran it out of oil and everything it still ran

  • is this the same wagon they use in "Harry and the Hendersons"?

  • @durko83 that was a more basic model, it had a drfferent roof rack, no vinyl roof, and different hubcaps, but i agree, it looks very similar to that one

  • Very cool wagon!

  • Very nice wagon, restore it!

    Clark Griswold

  • Nice vid---thx 4 posting--brings me back to my Dads wagon--I remember that green carpet and his car was brown. Wow.

  • i miss my 1st car. a 69 ltd wagon with a 390 i got when i was 15 for 200.00 nice car you have there.

  • This ia an amazing wagon, tough to find with that many options! Please take good care of it, you have the only one left like that. :)

  • hahaha 425 horsepower woody wagon...

    fuckin awesome

  • @IHateOnPeopleHella 425 horsepower this wagon? dang ive got the regular version of this wagon for this year the galaxy 500 station wagon and although its a premium 429 i wouldn't expect it to have 425 horsepower

  • @gogogahgah pardon me i was thinking of the 1969 kingswood estate with the 427 in it. that car has the 425 horsepower. the country squire had 360hp and 480 lb/ft of torque... which is still really impressive.

  • What a fine-looking wagon. Ford really designed the best wagons. Too bad they're not popular anymore.

  • nice car my first car was a 1970 ford ltd country squire with a 390 cid engine one of the best cars ive ever owned wish i still had it

  • What would Nancy Pelosi say about a 429 4V? Bitch!

  • nice car!

  • She's a great car and a great survivor! The Country Squires (and wagons in general) have really been going up in value and have been in greater demand in recent years. This one has the LTD Brougham package, which makes her even more sought after. Hang on to her! You won't regret it. Thanks for sharing.

  • @jwcasciato thank you. I should have shown the Marti report. It states that this car is 1 of 1 made this way.

  • If thats the tilt wheel then where is the turn signal switch?I dont think they combined them way back then.

  • @iluvrachellef tilt is pushed forward and signals were up/down.

  • nice car i have some kinds the same i have the 1971 torino squire chak it out onmy page

  • MAJORLY optioned! Beautiful!

  • Nice car, I bet it's fun to drive with the 429 4 barrel underneath the hood, gotta love the big iron American classics, I sure wish they could make cars like that again today

  • @Doobie1975

They could if the government would stay out of the way. CAFE standards and everything they do hurts the industry.

  • Ahhh, the luxury of the 70's! Very nice ride!

  • this thing is a beast build that motor nice ride

  • Oh boy! That was my first dating machine. A 1970 wood sides Country Squire.
