@fatalcoolfatalcool I don't know, but the chances would seem good seeing as how it's the same color! I'm sure that is very rare. Ford just had a knack with wagons that seemed to be missing in other brands--wish I'd bought one when they were plentiful!
What a beauty... Ford made great interior colors. I think this interior trim color was called Ginger; looks great with the white exterior and the saddle vinyl roof.
Also, the dashboard pod was a brilliant design in the 1969 and 1970 full-size Fords... way ahead of its time, and provided the front passenger with a huge amount of room.
Man, I used to own this same car. I took it to get a tune up and they draiuned the oil and forgot to put the oil back in and killed my car back in 99'
@durko83 that was a more basic model, it had a drfferent roof rack, no vinyl roof, and different hubcaps, but i agree, it looks very similar to that one
@IHateOnPeopleHella 425 horsepower this wagon? dang ive got the regular version of this wagon for this year the galaxy 500 station wagon and although its a premium 429 i wouldn't expect it to have 425 horsepower
@gogogahgah pardon me i was thinking of the 1969 kingswood estate with the 427 in it. that car has the 425 horsepower. the country squire had 360hp and 480 lb/ft of torque... which is still really impressive.
She's a great car and a great survivor! The Country Squires (and wagons in general) have really been going up in value and have been in greater demand in recent years. This one has the LTD Brougham package, which makes her even more sought after. Hang on to her! You won't regret it. Thanks for sharing.
Nice car, I bet it's fun to drive with the 429 4 barrel underneath the hood, gotta love the big iron American classics, I sure wish they could make cars like that again today
Damn that Squire is LOADED

We used to call station wagons with the wood trim as wagons that forgot that didn't have the crate removed.

They could if the government would stay out of the way. CAFE standards and everything they do hurts the industry.
