  • This is my dad's favorite snake.

  • that guy has HUGE fangs

  • I want a Gaboon guitar strap and matching boots

  • I heard you say the owner just reaches in ad picks him up...does that mean they had the venom sacs removed?

  • Look at the size of those fangs.

  • beautiful snake

  • he was trying to relocate his jaw

  • this is one good lookin snake!! one of my favourites, i also love the albino burmese snakes, but the gaboon viper is just.... stunnin!! :D

  • why the hell would your friend keep a venomous snake as a pet?

  • kiss, kiss...

  • That's amazing. I love Gaboon vipers, they're my favorite snake. I also hear that they're pretty chill, not quick to strike, etc.

  • Jesus H. Christ !!!

  • Lethal. I saw a show on the animal planet called fatal animal attractions . Well the chic had tens of snakes many were rattlers and she also had a gaboon . She used to let it out and clean its cage. She thought she had a personal freindship with the gaboon well needless to say they found her dead with blood all over her trailer. She started bleeding through all of her orafices

  • Why would you want something like this as a pet? You can't pet it or anything and it can kill you...pointless to have.

  • @Brandonisrad18 a python at 10ft long can kill you if it grabs you right. a dog can kill you. a horse can kill you. a gaboon viper just kills you quicker.

  • @702justin702 Exactly, point proven. Why the fuck would you want something that can kill you in a few seconds with a strike as fast as lightning? Thats stupid.

  • aww it looks so cute like its yawning

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • Nice looking snake. However the comment about your friend who owns him just grabbing it and picking it up leads to me to believe that the person shouldn't be owning the snake. Don't know the whole situation of course, but these types of snakes shouldn't be treated as pets and should be respected more than being so casual as picking them up and handling them with no precaution at all.

  • is it illegal to have these things?

  • now stick your hand in there and pet him on the head =]

  • Aslso, they have the most painful bite of all snakes.

  • idiots owning and handling these snakes in there homes will end up dead by it one day, noone who owns venomous snakes gets away from getting bite over a life time. the gaboon vipers venom can kill within 15 minutes and makes you bleed out of every hole in your body....good luck......but you will get it one day

  • Beautiful snake man

  • So unbelievably beautiful.... :)

  • Just imagine those fangs puncturing ur skin the amount of venom it would deliver but still it's a beautiful snake and it still wouldn't put me off buying 1 if I had the chance lol

  • keeping a venemous snake is like keeping a fish, you just watch them. unless of coarse you take the fish out to play with it, but it would die. if you take out the snake to play with it, in that case, you die.

  • beautiful snake.. maybe one day.. for now im going to stick with my emeralds

  • I love the video and I love this viper. Nice vid. And everyone should know there is nothing wrong with keeping a viper as a pet if you have sense enough to know what your doing. If you don't like them then don't watch it but don't hinder everyone else who does and who loves and respects these animals

  • i fuckin hate snakes aka im scared ass shit of em

  • wild....what a yawn...

  • some moron set one of these free behind a movie theater in saco maine a few months back. it froze to death.

  • I dont want imagine if this fangs would catch me xD

  • gnarly snake.my buddies got a 6 and half foot indian king cobra.ive never seen one of these in person though

  • you can buy these for around 60$ here in PA (or up the price a tad pit to $75 and get yourself a rhino viper) where you can own anything!!! Love this state =]

  • you are absolutely out of your mind owning one of these....if you get bit, you are totally screwed

  • its yawning

  • wow... you are nuts to own one of these lol.. nuts

  • thats one amazing looking snake dude, i love them and puff adders, amazing colors on them

  • Hey ! I live in Maine and one of these was found dead on trail out back of a movie theatre in saco Maine! two weeks ago Sombody must have let it go it was five feet long and did not have a chance in march in maine. It was in the Bangor daily news and was about 56 degrees that day which is pretty warm for maine in march!

  • Wow, such a beautiful snake. =)

  • largest fangs in the world ya know!

  • all he was doing is relocating his jaws

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • talk to people in the military lol. i live in one of the SMALLEST towns (boroughs) in PA, and theres alligators, pit vipers, etc floating around but if your 14 dont expect anyone to sell you one. gotta know whats going on they will kill you if u just let it bite u and not do shit about it lol.

  • you have lost your last marbles

  • to me it looks like its yawning

  • Hey just got done eating a big freakin rat like 1 min before i got this awesome shot. Never thought i would get such awesome video.

  • bitchin snake where do you get one

  • my buddy got it from a friend who got it from a friend thats all i know

  • @ryder1879 haha does he have a permit for it? Dont you need one for a poisonous snake like that one? Epsecially when its venom is known for killing people in some cases up to 15 min?

  • @USCisgay one bite from that snake there makes you bleed out of every hole you have. you eventually die from hemorrhaging/blood lose while screaming in agony. you still want one?

  • ha proves my point you know when you eat loads and get tired after thats why its yawning

  • Its readjusting its jaw, since its made of four independently moving parts and has the ability to dislocate each to open wider, after a meal they open and close over and over in attempts to get the bones back to their origional positions

  • @ryder1879

I guess the carbs are catching up to her :)

  • @MrCockSlut

    just relocating his jaw

  • @MrCockSlut She probably is yawning. My snakes yawn too lol.

  • Oooh I just love Gaboons ! I`m just not brave/mad enough though, the closest thing I have to venomous are Western Hognoses lol :D

  • how comes no one has a copperhead but so many people have dangerous gaboon vipers?

  • becus ur mums a copper head

  • the same reason people get pitbulls and shit

  • are u even normal to have such a dangerous snake in ur house??

  • wow what a beauty ; )

  • love gaboons dont they have the biggest fangs as far as snakes grow i believe two or more inches?

  • Its a bigger mouth than Jordon.. LOL..

  • The sankes head luks like its 2 big 4 its body

    god their big fangs

  • tey have the largest fangs of all snakes

  • Prince Albert?

  • Great video 5 stars

  • it has a spade shaped head

  • are they front fanged or rear fanged

  • front

  • wow your retarded

  • says ya mum when she got banged up the wall

  • to be honest im no sure if they are legal where i live either.

  • yeah lol what state you live in live in?

  • pa You?

  • in IL like 20 mins away from st. louis where it is leagal to own venomous thinking about moveing there one day

  • @ryder1879 you have to have a venomous snake liscense

  • nice looking snake where do you like that lets you keep them cause its illegal where i live

  • Nope no rhinos

  • LOL got any rhinos wtf LMAO

  • lol they ment rino viper homie

  • idc

  • no realyy

  • He is talking about the rhinocarous viper

  • The Rhinocerous viper is a sub-species of the Gaboon - its more or less the same snake, simply a difference in its colour tones, and the addition of more horns.

  • nice! got any rhinos?

  • i dont want those teeth in my body

  • I love these snakes, they are incredible creatures... but I personally wouldn't risk owning one. Ending up on the wrong side of those fangs is a discomforting scenario.

  • I always knew that the gaboon viper had huge ass fangs

  • They have the longest fang out of all the venomous snakes on earth

  • @V1perz08 Forget fang length, this viper is the most venemous snake on earth. Too scary for me.

  • @ThePharaoho i dont think it is its like a sea snake of some sort maybe the coral snake

  • @V1perz08 and also "At least to me and a few others" the best camouflage of most snakes. A Gabby in a pile of leaves is near invisible, maybe not to humans who are trained to spot them no but to people who aren't trained and some animals they are completely unseen. All you feel is a sharp pain then don't know what just hit you lol.

  • Lovely Yawn!

  • no im not sure. To be honest i think the man gave it to him.

  • how did you get a gaboon viper in the us

  • he got it from a guy who breeds vipers in the states

  • oh i see thats awsome do you know how much he paid

  • Nice

  • ilove the way the venom clans take up about 50% of its head

  • wow that was crazy cool. That mouth was scary!
