i have the crown xti 2000 and i am settin them using usb with the laptop ..and i am using this amp to play 2 jbl rx 115....if u have any numbers to throw my way in settin this up , it would be great
Hello, If you're using Channel A for mids/highs and Channel B for Lows, you will NOT get a stereo sound. Also, you may be missing some of the sound that a stereo can provide. so therefore; this set up will not be good for a dj or live stage performances.
This is really a bad way to hook up speakers, if you have subs and mains you should have one amp for mains and one amp for subs...This is the proper way to run them. if you have mains in channel 1 and subs in channel 2, the system will be MONO, you will have NO stereo Seperation!!!!! Highly recommend you get another amp to run your subs.
@kyle2284 not necessarily. You could have two amps 1 for left and 1 for right. Stereo crossover cables between your sub and main on each side. Many professional live sound companies run them this way. The sound company i work for we have 36 JBL Vertec and 18 of the vertec subs. We run 1 sub and 2 vertec on 1 amp. Less work you have to do to fine tune the system.

are you saying you have stero set up... and a crossover...
so the left (or right) channel is going to the high/mid's
and the right (or left) channel is going to the sub
surely not......

you should get the presets from JBL for the HiQnet program. you hook up the amp to your pc via usb and load it. pretty easy.
