  • so how much you charge to send you my book and you scan it for me?

  • $7,295 total for the complete package... Wow!

... I think I'll wait for the price to come down... Remember when Laser Copiers first came out, they were the size of a small car, and $120,000 USD.

My friend mortgaged his house to buy one... He was convinced he would make a million... Seriously!.

But within 8 months Cannon came out with a model that was a 1/5 of the price, produced better colors and a faster scan... My friend was bankrupt within the year. Today you can buy Laser Printer for $300

  • if there was a way to automatically turn pages this would be revolutionary.

  • what is that software and how to connect the cameras to the computer, please explain.

  • That must be boring!

  • Esta solução é bastante prática e viável de ser construida por baixo custo

  • I how much does it costs?

  • I need this ??? Cuz i`m admin of armenian e-library

  • This is really cool!

I don't own enough books to justify buying one and it's way out of my budget, but I love the idea.

I want to purchase books in PDF format, but nobody sells PDFs because they can be easily copied and redistributed.

Well that's the point! I can back them up, use them on multiple devices, etc.

The Kindle is great except who wants to start a book collection in the Kindle format and be locked in with DRM?

Don't get me started on the iPad.

There is no ideal way to buy books.

  • ummm... the hard copy version... you know, like people have been doing for hundreds of years...

  • I'm still confused. Tell me why again why only 5% of all book companies hasn't gone digital yet again? The way I see it if everyone had one of these they could recopy all originals reduce costs by 75% by eliminating shipping, production, and personnel cost if they went digital like this, so why are book companies frowning on this? I mean Amazon is trying their best to convince these people to do it and not very many are considering it or even do it, and here people are buying eBooks for $300

  • Wow, this job would be so easy even lazy Americans could do these kinds of jobs without breaking a nail

  • Yikes! Imagine doing THAT for an eight hour shift!

  • @plangenet Imagine making ipods in a 16-hour shift!

  • @plangenet it's as bad as it looks. And the piece of shit book scanner works when it wants to. I've been trying to make it work for almost a month now. And the technical support sucks.

  • He don't show the most important part of this equipment. From above its taken a foto in analog o digital and processed into digital automatic. Its something like microfilming but in digital.

  • They could add mechanism to automatically turn out the pages.Imagine to scan book of 1000+ pages...

  • wow this is cool where is the home version?
