Professionalism would have been denying anyone the satisfaction and spending my time on more important things than wondering what people thought of me on YouTube. I stood up and claimed it because a younger me made the choice to create it, and I was ready to take my licks. Unfortunately, all I am getting is the same stale stuff. Cat anuses and birth defects. Real original stuff. Show me what you got. Make it count. The door is open, and the cosmic judges are waiting.
And yet... to the 14 people who rated it... do I really deserve 5 stars? I mean really? This was a learning process for me in video editing, and if I'd known it was going to live this long, I might have had second thoughts. I had fun with it and think the scenes I strung together were top-shelf for an introductory promo for my favorite MST episode. Still, it's nothing special.. just something I made in a couple hours for a small group of friends that managed to leak out for all the world to see.
@aczilla I think it's that you butchered an MST3K episode, and tagged it with MST3K. We want MST3K, not your idiotic horribly bad 'experiments' in video editing. Were you born retarded or have an accident or what? Professionalism indeed.
@MrGrevy First commandment of the Internet: if it isn't worth attacking someone with fresh insults like "were you born retarded," then it isn't worth writing a comment. Yes, history will show the opinions of people on YouTube drive the spinning of the world. Bravo. You want MST? You still have opportunity to show you deserve it. Come on. Riff me like you mean it. Otherwise, you might as well go watch teens curse at Dora The Explorer instead. That's our future in action.
@aczilla I really wanted to know. Are you autistic or something? You seem to like to write novels about your experience with this video. Funny, since you lambaste me for commenting...
@MrGrevy Lambasting is an invitation for further lambasting, but I hoped it would result in something more than mental illness. I'm long-winded, and it's a trap. Most people show they didn't read most of it when they respond. I owned up to my side of it almost a year ago and moved on. Now you step forward with your take, and I ran with it in a good-natured ribbing fashion. This video is moronic. It makes me cringe. You have one of those moments too. If you don't, then someday this might be it.
@aczilla Ok, you win, I just don't want to read War and Peace every time I respond. You need to cut down the verbiage a bit. You're the only person I know who needs to hire a copy editor for youtube postings.
"You may have a face for radio..." I was going to coment on the lack of professionalism in your comments, but I'll just state that we both actually look a lot alike... not that you would know that since you've never seen my face. I thought the first line was really funny. I loved it. But then you had to go and spoil it by trying too hard. Thanks for playing... and try to stay on point next time you badger someone on their talent or lack thereof. Oh, and a gentle reminder: don't drink and type.
Still, 4775 hits, and I didn't even upload it... not to mention the 10,000+ hits it got in its last youtube upload before the user disappeared. Mediocre? Maybe. Amateurish? You bet. A complete goof with no intended value? Sure... but it was intended as a little introductory trailer for potential MSTies. I think it did what it set out to do. I'll fade back into the ether and ponder what giving up anonymity has cost me... but I'm sure there are plenty more trevors to handle that.
I'm the a-hole with the mic. This was my very first fan video, made way back in 2001. Boy does it show. Thanks, trevor. Always nice to know there are people on youtube with constructive criticism. Do you know any? It was a crappy mic, so I give you that one, and I can sound like Gopher from Winnie the Pooh at times. Last person who upped this vid disabled the comments section because of comments like that, but that's the world. Don't like it, then go on the Internet and complain, right?

The mystery science theater. LOL the biggest sham in cinema. Three characters sit back and rip on an old movie. Well the prodcuction for the show must be pretty cheap. This movie is not that bad. The soundtrack was very era specific. I liked the MST review of Krull. That was funny.
Who's the asshole with the five dollar karaoke mic doing the shitty voice overs? The son of a retired golf commentator tries his hand at movie trailer narration?
Plug up the gap in your teeth, yer whistling commentary is making my cat's asshole close up. You may have a face for radio, but that doesn't mean you have a voice for it.
