This a really clear view. How does the ant farm look like? My queen is funny cause she is on the surface of the soil in the ant farm and laid her eggs there. The pit is only like half an inch deep when the queen is over one inch. You can see her and the eggs in plain sight from above. I think she was like "f**k this, i aint digging a nest by myself. I'd let by kids do it later." First time I saw this happen out of the 5 times I captured fertile queens. Yeah hows your ant farm now?

You don't really need a specific camera to do the job. Also, you should feed your queen ant a mixture of: protein powder, vitamin powder, honey (or sugar), and water.

I have one idea but it is really expensive. A high quality snake camera. With this, you will be able to get extremely close to your ants. By close I mean that you can actually use the camera to go into one of their holes. I don't have one though, but I really want one.

You must turn the soil into a paste, then scoop out enough soil to make the cavern the size you want it. Next, let the soil you scooped out dry into clay and place it onto the cavern you made leaving a large air pocket. Next, take a toothpick and make a hole leading into the air pocket! Hope this helps!
