  • They don't sound bad to me. A little repetitious, but cool as hell.

  • Thanks sooooo much for this....great tune, great musicians, great improvisation!

    C.G.T. Ukiah, CA

  • Nappy head of hair there....

  • The piano player is Mark Sherman the vibraphonist composer from NYC

  • Where is this piano player hiding now? JAY-ZUSS!!! Put him on TV or something.

  • @aaronlebos yeah all those idiots who call him one of the greats or an influence: scofield, robben ford, steve khan, pat metheny, Al di meola, Jimmy Bruno, Vic Juris, Birelli Lagrene, Paco de Lucia, Mclaughlin, Abercrombie,

Frissel, Joe Beck, Gary Burton, Bunny Brunel, Jeff Berlin, Subramaniam and the list goes on and on. But hey you have your opinion and I am sure a remarkable career.

  • The drummer kinda blows.

  • Nice guitar solo, Mr Coryell, good tempo

  • fanastic bits for piano and guitar, i guess i agree with some other comments though, not as jammin as it could be when it tries to pick up. Larry keeps it together and the pianist blew my mind with his syncopation though

  • Lol this really isn't very happenin. The time is WEAK...

  • cookin'

  • It just goes to show that Larry could be a killin' straight ahead hard bop player if that's what he wanted.

  • Larry's chops were always first-class, but his acoustic and straight-up jazz adventures really show what a fine musician he is today. go, Mr. C !!

  • man i played with larry, in vegas calamity jane's late 80's,,nice

  • He is the most advanced jazz guitarist of his generation.Great Larry Coryell.

  • such sonorous chords he's using

  • great holistic bands are--gong, mother gong, magma aphrodities child, jade warrior, eat static, system 7, lisa gerrard, dead can dance, jade warrior, larry coryell, shakti, oregon, melting euphoria, ozric tentacles, steve hillage, steve tibbetts, steffi sharpstrings.

  • Nice tone and solo - way to go Larry! That must have been the official hairstyle of the Czech Republic at the time.

  • Great footage of Larry's quartet form the 90s -- is there more from this concert?

  • great add and great playing. Who were these other musicians? I'll have to ask Larry about that hairdo!

  • Thanks for the comment--yeah Larry did have a different haristyle! The musicians are Kennwood Dennard (d), Bill Foster (b), Mark Sherman (p)

  • @jellison7 thanks. Mark Sherman is tight.
