Where can i get the album with Carlos singing?

It seems to me Kelly can deliver better on the lower notes. Carlos, when he comes down, sounds raspier but when Kelly does the low-middle range notes he puts a fucktonne of power into them.

Does any of you can recommend me more bands/songs like this? I mean, really heavy guitar sound with high pitched vocals.

I'm asking because I love high pitched vocals but , in my opinion, most bands in this category have a "thin... happy" guitar sound and this is no good to my ears. I hope you understood me.

Symphony X is what you are describing. Dream Theater also has some older albums that are pretty good that are not as much in the neoclassical genre, but still have vocals with a high range and some awesome guitar work. I don't particularly care for anything Dream Theater has done over the last decade though.

@Blodies Here are some bands I would recommend : Arch/Matheos, Symphony X, Eumeria, Pyramaze (1st two albums with Lance King on vocals), Anubis Gate, Lost in Thought, Redemption, Seventh Wonder, Circus Maximus, Kamelot, Jacob's Dream, Aspera (now called Above Symmetry), and Serenity I hope this was helpful in your quest for new music

Carlos is cool, but Kelly sounds even more intense, has an awesome vibrato (always a plus for me), and has a more operatic delivery on the chorus. Love his vocals on Riders too.

This album is epic, it's a shame they only ever made the one :(

@kiljaeden2222 kelly has growled in beyond twilight skits, but that damages your voice, and doesnt take any talent. i can teach anyone how to growl better than the average death metal band in a minute flat.

also carlos frys his voice, which gives a less acurate not but higher pitch, so if we are going on whos a better vocalist? kelly, hands down.

I prefer Kelly over Carlos. Sure, Kelly doesn't sound as ''sharp'' as Carlos, but he can hold notes for a longer amount of time and sounds more convinced during the chorus. They both rule though. Too bad Outworld have split up.

Carlos reminds me halford for the ability to switch high falsetto (not head voice).

I have to say Kelly is more accurate in head voice and technically superior. Carlos though seemed to be much better live, very powerful! It's a shame they disbanded.

Both fantastic versions, both technically brilliant vocalists without a doubt. I prefer Carlos though, but that may be due to the mix, this mix is a lot "wetter" and for me that ruins the vocal sound.
