It's nearly impossible to tie somebody else's tie facing them. To help my buddy the other day, I tried first tying on myself and then giving it to him, but with our height difference the tie hung down too low... The only way was for me to get behind him and end up rubbing nuts to butts.
i've done that for my buddies who can't tie a tie. it's hard to do for someone else because it's back words. it's easier to do if you stand behind them.
