Another classic, they don't make family shows like this anymore maybe they should start again cause just maybe subliminaly it would show us how important family valuse really are and how important staying together as a family really is. These shows will ALWAYS BE THE BEST.

@cvm8281 that is a good point on how popular sit coms and dramas can drive our culture, and not our culture driving dramas and sit coms ... I have always thought the reason networks make shows about nursing, police, etc. there is a prescient need for more people to enter those careers. and that maybe even our government is helping to fund said shows through tax breaks, and other monetary incentives.

@oneNonly1fullofsome Yeup but I think in today's world even if they were to bring shows like this back, no one would watch them cause shows like this don't sell, back in the 90's and def the 80's but you never know show's like, "Leave it to Beaver" worked back then then years later show's like, "Growing Pains" and "Who's the Boss" worked, so you never know.

This show jumped the shark when they put Chrissy on it.

Family Ties did when Andy came onboard. So weird how these shows seemed paralleled in alot of ways
