Seeing this video recharges my favorite location of all time. I made my living sailing and racing there for ten years and when the wednesday night fleet turned out around 60 boats a night. Fun and serious racing, but the best part is the Corpus wind and weather which makes it sailing paradise with a beautiful skyline in the background to top it off.

Made my living sailing on the Corpus Christi Bay. It was the most glamorous life one could imagine. I miss it terribly and wish I had never left. The bayfront is one of the most beautiful in the world and all who visited there were impressed by the consistent winds, facilities, downtown access and year round nice weather.

@coolcool6789, I live only 5 minutes from downtown & the docks, they are pretty much beautiful as showing in this vdo. Sometimes v c trashes but only on the beach when there is big event such as the 4th of July, Buccaneer day and the city cleans them up very fast. I love it & a beautiful city.

meh, i live in corpus, some people are saying "i live here water's not like that here" but in the docks they mostly are... it's just on the beach it's not that good looking. idk why that is though... corpus is really cool though, traffic is good. girls here are usually pretty down to earth too, but sometimes you get that one girl from like dallas and then... well you know.

If ya wanna grow the city w/that kinda stuff, do it on the southside. The southside's already been compeltely transformed in teh last 5 or 10 years.

And it might be a great contrast of old and new after its done.

Just demolish the fu*king memorial coliseum already. I dont know what "memorial" is but I guess its supposed to be important or remember something. Its not, its worthless. I remember when I was a kid I wanted to skateboard over the top of it. lol.

I guess they wanna "grow" the area but Im not sure downtown is the place to do it. Its not big enough. Its like 2 streets. lol.

I liked corpus alot when I went. Its EXACTLY like El Paso but with a gulf of mexicoinstead of mountains. to many oil refinaries though (i counted 5) El Paso has 1 and the city is much bigger than corpus. GREAT nightlife!!!

true native here..best things are fishing the seafood n the mexican food..alot of pretty girls..n nice homes depending what part of town ur on..some good clubs depending what kinda person you are..but just like any city we have our crime crackheads hookers n gankstaz n very crooked cops..

it's one of my biggest dreams to go to corpus, i might consider moving there one day when i'm older or having another house there, i really wanna visit selena's gravesite, but all in all it looks like a very peaceful place away from all the hype of the city. a lot of people keep saying it's crappy but i like smaller cities, i hear that it is improving some what, but i think it would be fine if it stayed the same, it seems like a nice place to getaway.

I go every year. I live in Norman OK (and I'm a longhorns fan, don't ask how I ended up there) and going to Corpus is like going to Hawaii for me since I'm always around farm land.

It's pretty big. It's the eighth biggest city in Texas. Life style is a little different from the big cities like Dallas, Houston, or New York. It's kinda laid back, the downtown area isn't clogged with cars and ppl like New York. There's alot of stuff to do though, and it's very close to vacation spots like Port aransas or Padre island.

Basically, if you're into skateboarding, hunting, fishing, sailing, going to vacation spots in under an hour, it's a great place for you.
