Their take on the local scene is totally wrong. No local musician don't "want" it to be hard to get to. All local musicians trying to get their music out are struggling even more than five years ago. Venues are shutting down or shutting out musicians. When a show happens in the "field out back" it is because that's because that is all that can happen. This is my observation from my area. All I can say is the "local" shows where I am at are thirty miles away and the bands are from a wide area.
