@lagimati007 delete e107 and uninstall apache than install it again but while installing in when you get to the root pass page check the box that says "Enable InnoDB" I think it will work

InnoDB is apparently disabled by default for use with linux or something? windows users need to have it enabled (or so i read). there's a way to enable it after installing it but i really dont know how to use command lines and php code at all yet, so i think this would be a simple way of doing it, too

Does anyone know how to make the sever secure for protection of the files so no one can just come along and change your files or steal them? Also does anyone know if after you set up the appserve. and you upload your files to it if you turn your laptop or pc off will the website turn off also and crash? Id really appreciate it thanks

I installed both and i can't install e107 via web browser. i get "e107 requires PHP to be installed or compiled with the MySQL extension to work correctly, please see the MySQL manual for more information."

A good tutorial: although not quite excellent. I knew of appserv already, but not of e107. Also, I hadn't noticed the download links to appserv and e107 were off the video frame, on the right. So I was lost on the first couple of viewings. Eventually everything installed smoothly. Only then I realised that Apache had to be switched on. It might have helped, too, if the script of the video were available for download. Whatever, thank you for making the video.
