Not because people are dumb, but because people tend to like whats actually good, and they go for the best, or at least good even if it is different. its different and there are ppl that understand intelligent music and enjoy it (i enjoy it a lot as i am a producer of minimal)

Sorry maybe its just my opinion, but I also make music, and as a producer Melodies, great bass lines, and inventing new branches of electronic music, without going too far out of the box all excite me.
