Uh these SC2 cutscenes are so cheesy and cliché... I feel embarassed for the writers, how could they put out such a shitty written game?? "Because some things just are worth fighting for." Oh man I'm going to die, this is ass. I came very close to quitting the whole campaign because of the writing but somehow managed to find the will to see how it ends. (It was shitty).

They have visors down most of the time and it probably doesn't vent out when they open the visors because of the equalized pressure with the atmosphere. And chemosynthesis isn't by Zerg, its by the bacteria in the volcanos utilizing the hydrogen sulfide to make air.

@Cavstic Well if did once say in Starcraft lore that Char didn't use to be like that. It use to be much more peaceful and full of life not the zerg but Terran Life but due to the abundance of minerals they got greedy and started a war for it all. The wars go so bad that they all used nukes. There were so many nukes fired that it caused the world to change making volcanoes erupt. After that they left it behind which led to the zerg colonizing it. I could be wrong but it's one possibility.

Wow, that brings me back to when I heard the news of Michel. Rene (Twin Brother) and Michel were new employees also when it happened. I was 2 years younger than them and they inspired me that even at a young age you could be working your dream job. This scene would be more powerful if all the marines had their visors up. If you could see their faces as the sun rises and show the determination on their faces as they are inspired by Jim's speech, I feel like that would make the scene more powerful. You don't even have to know who they are, but if you put a face on them they would all seem more heroic which would fit the mood of the scene.
